Spoiler-Free Review of “They Will Kill You” in Theaters: Zazie Beetz Packs a Punch!

*This is a spoiler-free review so feel free to read on!*

“This is a safe space…”

They Will Kill You is an action-horror comedy film that premiered on March 27th 2026. The film stars Zazie Beetz, Patricia Arquette, Heather Graham, and Tom Felton. It runs for approximately an hour and thirty-five minutes.

An ex-con accepts a job as a housekeeper in a lavish NYC building, but soon discovers that the people residing there are trying to sacrifice her to their satanic cult.

Here is the trailer:

They Will Kill You delivers with fantastic fight scenes and a few welcomed twists to keep you entertained. Is it worthy of your next watch? Let’s find out…

The Pros:

Sylish, well-choreographed fight scenes.

If you like films like, The Raid, Boy Kills World, and Bullet Train, then this is right up your alley. The fight scenes were fantastic and there were plenty of gruesome and bloody moments. The humor also worked well so that the material didn’t become too stale by the end.

Zazie Beetz is fantastic!!!

She dominated this film in the best way possible. This was clearly such a physical and powerful role and I thought she was believable and definitely one to root for. She was bad-ass and then some! Wow!

The other characters were fun to watch as well. I always love seeing Heather Graham show up in horror films.

The Cons:

No real plot…

Look, I knew this film was going to be about action and it delivered in that aspect. However, the majority of the film is filled with very loud music accompanied with fight scenes so if you’re expecting a well-layered plot, you won’t get that here.

There was a story-line at the back end of everything, but it wasn’t fleshed out enough. I still cared enough about the characters, but I could tell that wasn’t the goal of this movie.

So am I in or out?

I’m in!!

They Will Kill You is mindless fun with a strong female lead to root for against all odds.

Place of Bones starts off like your generic Western film, but it takes a jaw-dropping turn at the end. Is it worthy of your next watch? Let’s find out…

The Pros:

More Heather Graham please!

She’s so fantastic in this and she hasn’t aged a day! Her character is bad-ass and brutal and she absolutely shines in this one. The rest of the cast did a decent job as well, but I came for Heather Graham and she delivered!

Wild final 30 minutes!

Wow, this film took an insane turn in its last thirty minutes with an outrageous twist I didn’t see coming. Honestly, this redeemed the movie for me. It was filled with blood, action, and bad-ass moments. If you’re thinking of tuning out, stick around for this finale. It’s worth it.

The Cons:

Super slow start!

I’m not going to lie…it was a struggle getting through the majority of this movie. It wasn’t bad, but there wasn’t a lot going on and it felt like your standard Western flick by the numbers. Graham kept things alive for me and that finale jolted me awake, but be prepared for a serious slow burn until then.

So am I in or out?

I’m in about 75 percent…

Place of Bones is an insane ride featuring a bad-ass performance by Heather Graham.

Be prepared for a slow start, but I promise it will deliver in the end.

Spoiler-Free Review of “Suitable Flesh” on Shudder: Sexually Explicit “Freaky Friday” is Full of Welcomed Camp!

*This is a spoiler-free review so feel free to read on!*

“Friends are the most dangerous…”

Suitable Flesh released on Shudder on January 26th 2024. It previously had a limited theatrical release on October 27th 2023. The horror film stars Heather Graham, Barbara Crampton, Judah Lewis, and Jonathon Schaech. It runs for approximately an hour and thirty-eight minutes.

A psychiatrist becomes obsessed with helping a young patient who is tormented by extreme personality disorder, but when she becomes too involved, she quickly learns that something supernatural may be to blame, targeting her and those closest to her.

Here is the trailer:

Suitable Flesh may be completely mad, but it is filled with satisfying camp and a cast to die for. Is it worthy of YOUR next watch? Let’s find out…

The Pros:

Graham and Crampton are electric on screen!

They DOMINATED this film and ate up every single minute of screen time with fantastic performances. I loved the moments when they were both together because I really believed their friendship and thought they had great chemistry together. Plus, can we talk about how they both look like they haven’t aged a day?

Heather Graham was almost unrecognizable in the best way possible. She really committed to this role and then some. Perfection!

Horror B Movie Gold!

This was clearly a lower budget film, but it still managed to provide the audience with an addicting plot that was trippy and insane. It helped having such a great cast to elevate things, but as long as you manage your expectations and expect for things to go completely off the rails, you’ll have a good time as a horror fan.

The Cons:

The first half is a little shaky…

I’ll be honest…I was really unsure about this one when I started it. I wasn’t fully connecting to it (even though the premise was interesting) and I was starting to lose interest, but then the second half found its groove and went all in. It was so much fun to watch and it really let go, allowing its cast members to shine.

If you’re having doubts at first, stick around, but be aware of the sluggish initial pacing.

So am I in or out?

I’m in!!!

Suitable Flesh is deranged and completely bonkers in a deliciously satisfying way.

Sit back and enjoy the ride. It may be insane, but it’s so much fun!
