“No way down and no way to call for help…”
Fall 2: Deadpoint released in theaters on September 4th 2026. The adventure thriller film stars Harriet Slater, Arsema Thomas, Tom Brittney, and Virgnia Gardner. It runs for an hour and thirty-eight minutes.
After her sister’s death, Jax Hunter bonds with one of her sister’s college friends and the two make a pact to climb the dangerous Mount Kwan trail in Thailand to honor her.
Here is the trailer:
Fall 2: Deadpoint gives us plenty of extremely intense and nail-biting moments that will worsen anyone’s fear of heights even more. Is it worthy of YOUR next watch? Let’s find out…
The Pros:

Just as intense as the first one!
I don’t think I’ve ever had as much anxiety watching a film as I did when I first watched Fall in theaters back in 2022. The film quickly became one of my favorites of that year so I was beyond excited to see the sequel. This one definitely takes fear to new heights. Once again, I felt that feeling of dread and fear wash over me while viewing this. This was such a consuming watch. You couldn’t pay me enough to even attempt something like this. Get ready for another intense ride!

The new characters give it their all.
Becky and Hunter were both really likable characters. I love that the sequel still incorporated them into the story with flashbacks. This film could have easily abandoned them and just focused on new characters, but the tie-ins really worked for me. I thought the new characters did a good job, but they also made some really dumb decisions as well.
Hey, let’s pay this handsome stranger $5000 so he can take us on an illegal trail that’s been closed for decades in a foreign country. What could possibly go wrong? I guess we wouldn’t have a movie without that so there’s that.
The Cons:

The twist didn’t pack the same punch.
The first film had a FANTASTIC twist that I never saw coming. It was truly shocking. I guess since I knew the formula with these films, I expected something along those lines to happen in the sequel. The effort was there and I appreciate that they tried to do something a little different this time around, but it didn’t have the same impact on me. That being said, it was entertaining enough.
So am I in or out?

I’m in!!!
(4 out of 5 stars)
Fall 2: Deadpoint steps up to the plate and delivers with another twisty, tense thriller.
The first film was stronger, but I really enjoyed my watch of the sequel and I’m hoping they make that third film with those hints at the end.

DON’T TAKE THE JOB…

It was only supposed to be temporary…but when Olivia Crewe accepts a new position that seems too good to be true, she soon discovers that twelve other girls previously had the same job as her. Only none of them lasted for more than thirty days. No notice. Nothing…right before they mysteriously disappeared without a trace.
