My performance of the week ending 3/9/19 on TV goes to…

Saniyya Sidney as Amy Bellafonte on The Passage.  This is no easy role to play and Saniyya has a lot to live up to, as Amy Bellafonte is one of my favorite characters ever! I am a big fan of Justin Cronin’s work and I was worried that I might not connect with Amy as much on the television series.  However, Saniyya completely changed my mind and then some.  Her performance every single week is so real and believable.  She has me crying my eyes out, as she carries the weight of the world on her shoulders.  Amy has to go through so much and she still stays brave, loyal, and funny through it all.  Her bond with Agent Brad Wolgast is beautiful and heartwarming, as she recognizes him as her true family.

What’s next for Amy?  We’ll have to stay tuned to find out, but it looks like her abilities have just transcended to another level and it’s perfect timing since the subjects have gotten out of their cages.  Amy’s eyes changed colors, but she made the decision to turn away from Fanning’s offer, which proves just how strong and fearless she is.  Watch out Fanning, Amy’s coming to get you and I can’t wait to see what she does next!

Stay tuned for a recognized performance on TV each week!

Best,

Amy Koto, TV Fanatic Girl
