Ranking the top 5 moments from “The 100” season 6 episode 9: “Redemption”

Happy Wednesday TV fans!  After watching the CW’s The 100 season 6 episode 9, I learned that “the path to the future goes through the past,” but once you face it, are you able to truly earn a second chance?  Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.  In last night’s episode, “What You Take With You,” the trippy weirdness continues, as Octavia takes a spiritual journey to discover the truth about herself.  Meanwhile, Josephine/Clarke and Bellamy try to find Gabriel and Kane is conflicted about his own second chance.  My top 5 moments from The 100 season 6 episode 9 are:

5

“You don’t want them to know the truth…”

Abby is beyond thrilled to have Marcus back in her life, but he is having a little bit of trouble adjusting to his new body and the actions that led to his return, which is to be expected.  Abby tries to tell Marcus that this is a gift and begs him to accept it, reminding him that he is the man she fell in love with and that this doesn’t change that.  Even though Marcus initially seems like he is trying to adjust, he recognizes that the Primes are lying to their people, as his host’s wife thinks that he is still living.  Marcus tries to keep his moral compass intact, but this is not an easy call, as he also wants to be with Abby.

4

“I won’t let you die.”

Meanwhile, Josephine/Clarke and Bellamy continue on their own journey together, as Bellamy tries to track down Gabriel.  Josephine asks Bellamy if they are going to be friends now, but it doesn’t look like Bellamy is falling for her act.  However, we do discover that Clarke can hear them and Bellamy takes a moment to tell Clarke that he won’t let her die, which was a swoon-worthy Bellarke moment for sure.  Josephine hilariously comments on how weird their relationship is, but their friendship has been through so much and I love every single moment we witness with them.

3

“Why can I see you?”

After the Children of Gabriel learn that Josephine is present within Clarke’s body, it’s off with her head…or almost, as Josephine reluctantly turns control over to Clarke so that she can escape.  Clarke shows off her kick-ass fighting skills and clearly has not forgotten her time as Wanheda!  Survival is important to Josephine, but Clarke begins to see Josephine right in front of her, reminding us that they are running out of time.  Clarke radios over a message to Gabriel and tells him who she is and that she has Josephine within her mind, hoping to find a way out of this, but it looks like Clarke and Josephine are both in danger here.

2

“This is how we get our humanity back.”

Kane’s uncertainty continues and he wakes up some backup to help him figure this all out…Indra!  It’s great to see Indra again, but she is shocked upon seeing Kane’s new body, but he quickly confirms that it is really him.  Raven is on board to help as well, as Kane realizes what he must do.  Abby is horrified to find out that Marcus plans on ending his life for good and speaks to him between the glass, desperately trying to get him to change his mind.  Marcus loves Abby so much, but he understands what he needs to do now, ultimately floating himself, but not before we see him in his true form one last time.

Henry Ian Cusick has confirmed that he is leaving the show, but perhaps we will see him again in a flashback or a memory.  “May we meet again.”  He will absolutely be missed and I am still incredibly heartbroken over this, as I ship Abby and Marcus together so much!  Kane’s fight may be over, but his memory will live on and I’m hoping his actions are enough to inspire Abby, so that she can find her own inner strength to stop the Primes before it’s too late.

1

“The anomaly gave me a second chance and now I need to earn it.”

The most interesting part of the episode for me involved Octavia and her spiritual journey into her past and the anomaly.  Gabriel induces a kind of sleep or trance to find out what she saw in the anomaly, but Octavia seems to go on more of a journey of self discovery.  We get to see Pike again, who sort of acts as Octavia’s guide on this journey, helping her tap into her past and her guilt.  Pike asks Octavia what she truly wants and she first says, “Forgiveness,” but then comes to the realization that she is actually looking for redemption.

In a heartbreaking moment, we witness Octavia seeing Lincoln right before he dies, which still brings me to tears even now.  Octavia faces off against the darkest part of herself, as Blodreina reminds her that “you are Wonkru or you are the enemy of Wonkru.”  I never get tired of hearing that.  After battling herself, Blodreina is no more, but Octavia Blake remains.  Octavia is a fighter and she is about to prove herself to earn back her second chance.

Can she truly be redeemed?  I’m not sure, but this is definitely a step in the right direction for her and it looks like things are going to get even more interesting when Josephine/Clarke shows up.  The anomaly has shown Octavia the way, but we still don’t know where Diyoza is and Gabriel still seems to be infatuated with discovering the truth within it, so we definitely have a lot more to find out.  Stay tuned!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “Younger” season 6 episode 3: “We Will Just Have to Eat It”

Happy Thursday TV fans!  After watching TV Land’s Younger season 6 episode 3, I realized that integrity is important, but sometimes it’s not as simple as clearing your name.  So do you “eat it,” as Kelsey so eloquently put it, or do you find another way to spin the scam?  Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.  In last night’s episode, “The Unusual Suspect,” Quinn’s book is making its way up the best seller list, but there is something fishy going on.  Meanwhile, Maggie finds a potential new romance, Josh adjusts to fatherhood, and Liza and Charles spice things up with an interesting role play.  My top 5 moments from Younger season 6 episode 3 are:

5

“I haven’t been able to look at her since the incident.”

In this episode, Maggie gets some well deserved screen time and has clearly been traumatized after helping Clare while she was in labor.  Lauren tries to help Maggie get through this and brings her to some kind of therapy group for this very thing, but it looks like this was the right call, as Maggie meets a new potential romantic interest named Beth.  Beth informs Maggie that she “also teaches privates” and it looks like Maggie is ready to take her up on this offer.  We’ll have to see how this new romance unfolds, but I’m happy for Maggie.

4

“I guess I need to listen to episode 7.”

Everyone is obsessed over the trending podcast, Exonerated, as Liza and Kelsey prepare to meet with Audrey Colbert, played by the wonderful Willa Fitzgerald for all of you Scream fans out there!  Audrey is definitely a little off and is pitching her book to Millennial, but she needs to be convinced that Liza and Kelsey believe that she is innocent of murder.

Liza and Charles also spice things up, as they act out different scenarios in the podcast, leading to some interesting role plays, but I’m always happy to see an episode that features some Charliza time.  Still swooning over this!  Liza actually plays the femme fatale very well, so Charles better look out when it comes to his new business deal!

3

“Clare…will you…?

So I’ll admit it, when I first saw the preview for episode 3, I thought Josh was going to propose to Clare and I didn’t like it at all!  I’m glad this did not happen, as Josh realizes that they are not right for each other.  I think it’s so amazing that they are going to raise their baby together, but Josh realizes that they need to keep the romance out of it, which is the right call in my opinion.

Josh gets down on one knee and says, “Clare…will you divorce me?”  It looks like Clare is on board, but what does this mean for Josh’s romantic life?  We know that there are still feelings floating around for Liza, but will he continue to pursue this or is there someone else catching his eye?

2

“You and Zane…again?!”

I mean, it’s not like I mind Kelsey and Zane getting together again, as I absolutely adore these two together!  Kelsey bumps into Zane at the liquor store and thinks that he is pretending about having a new job.  Zane continues to turn on the charisma and invites Kelsey to help him drink the bottle he just bought.  It looks like things are definitely on again for this couple, but Zane is about to shake things up when Kelsey finds out about his actual new job.  Drama!

1

“A messy bitch who lives for drama.”

That’s our girl Kelsey and we adore her for it!  After Quinn’s book continues to climb on the best seller list, Kelsey discovers that Quinn bought her books in bulk, which resulted in a dagger next to her name at number one.  It’s a scam and Kelsey is not ready to take the fall for this.  Kelsey initially thinks about coming clean and placing the blame on Quinn, but Liza gives her some great advice and reminds her that she is their investor and she can’t throw an author under the bus.

Kelsey proves to be someone you do not want to mess with when she is asked about the bulk sales during an interview.  With perfect poise, she explains that the books were bought for speaking events and decides to announce Quinn’s intent to run for senate earlier than Quinn had intended.  Quinn is clearly not pleased with this, but no one puts our girl Kelsey in a corner!

Things are looking up, but Kelsey soon discovers that Audrey is actually going to go with a new publishing company named Mercury.  We learn that Zane is the editor, but they start to wonder about where he got all that money, as a light bulb goes off in Liza’s head, realizing Charles’s connection to all of this.  I can’t wait to see what happens next here!  Stay tuned!  New episodes return July 10th!

I hope you enjoyed the list and feel free to post your own theories and thoughts on Younger below in the comments section.  Thanks so much for reading and happy viewing!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “The 100” season 6 episode 8: “Another Episode of No Good Choices”

Happy Wednesday TV fans!  After watching the CW’s The 100 season 6 episode 8, I learned that sometimes you may love someone too much to lose them, but is it possible to take this too far?  Immortality may seem like the answer, but there are always consequences.  Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.  In last night’s episode, “The Old Man and the Anomaly,” Diyoza and Octavia continue on their quest to find Gabriel and discover a shocking truth.  Meanwhile, Josephine attempts to eliminate Clarke once and for all, Madi seeks out revenge, and Emori is presented with an impossible choice.  My top 5 moments from The 100 season 6 episode 8 are:

5

“We’re gonna get her back.”

In the beginning of the episode, Bellamy lets the rest of the group know that he believes that Clarke is still alive and they try to come up with a plan to get Josephine out of there.  Bellamy recognizes that perhaps they need Raven, but she is a little busy helping Abby right now.  Bellamy seems focused on saving Clarke, but Jordan wants to help his new girlfriend, Delilah, as well.  Only Bellamy recognizes that this may not be possible, but he suggests that they focus on Clarke, even though Madi has other ideas and thinks that they should just kill them all.  It looks like the group is not in full agreement here, but will they be able to work together to save Clarke before it’s too late?

4

“Say hi to Gabriel…”

Hey Gabriel, how are you?  Spoiler alert, Xavier, who has been helping Diyoza and Octavia, is actually Gabriel.  An interesting reveal for sure and it’s clear that he still has feelings for Josephine, but she thinks that he is dead.  So there’s that, but there is also this weird anomaly and some trippy crazy stuff going on.  Gabriel tells them that the anomaly can show you your greatest fears and desires or a combination of both.

Diyoza and Octavia begin hallucinating and Diyoza sees her daughter and ends up walking into some kind of green energy to find her.  Octavia follows her and ends up coming out of the green energy completely healed, but where is Diyoza?  I am still a little fuzzy on all of this anomaly stuff, but hopefully we will get some answers soon.  Either way, I was happy to see that Octavia is all right.  We would be lost without you, Blodreina!

3

“To glory and grace of the Primes…”

We have already seen some signs that Madi is headed to the dark side and is being influenced by the Dark Commander, but she begins to act on these feelings now, taking her revenge on some of the Primes.  After Madi murders two members, Jordan steps in front of her to save Delilah and ends up getting stabbed.  Poor Jordan.  Madi is going down a dark path, but will anyone be able to stop her?  Even after she hears that Clarke is technically still alive, she still wants to kill everyone, but it seems like there are a lot of other things going on at once to focus too much attention on her, but I would like a Madi centric episode soon!  I have to say that Madi makes a terrific bad-ass, but I hope that she doesn’t continue to go down this path of destruction.

2

“So much for forever.”

Murphy approaches Emori during the episode and proposes…only he’s not asking for her hand in marriage just yet.  Murphy tells Emori about achieving immortality and asks her if she can love him forever.  I thought this was a really sweet moment for Memori, but Josephine/Clarke interrupts the love fest, reminding them that they are running out of time to complete the surgery.  You know, because “brain surgery in a machine shop…what can go wrong?”  Emori is clearly conflicted about what to do next since she ultimately has to choose between the man she loves and doing the right thing, but she comes through and tells Bellamy what is going on.

Josephine/Clarke refuses to go down without a fight and ends up stabbing Murphy in the leg.  Emori and Murphy are taken as prisoners and aren’t talking just yet, but our friend Murphy is no stranger to torture.  Even though Emori has a moral compass, she still loves Murphy with all her heart and begs him to stay with her.  Let’s hope that Murphy will be OK so that he can try and make amends, but can we really trust him anymore?

1

“If you had the chance to bring back someone you love…would you?”

Abby continues to be blinded by love, refusing to give up on Marcus.  I admire their love and devotion so much, but is Abby being selfish here?  Raven tries to talk some sense into her, explaining that she is essentially killing someone else to save Marcus, but Abby will not leave him.  Raven thinks of Abby as a mother and hopes that she can save her, but I am very worried about Abby’s actions.  The switch is successful as a man wakes up as Marcus, but he is shocked when he sees his own lifeless body and asks, “What have you done?”

I don’t think that Marcus will take this too well and now I’m worried that we won’t see Henry Ian Cusick on the show anymore and he is one of my favorite actors.  I know that anything is possible on this show, but I’m not sure how I feel about someone else  being Marcus.  Either way, it looks like Marcus has a lot to deal with now and many of the other characters have been left with uncertain fates as well.  Murphy and Jordan were both brutally stabbed, Diyoza disappeared into the anomaly, and Josephine is still in Clarke’s body.  How will this all unfold?  Stay tuned!  New episodes return July 9th!

I hope you enjoyed the list and feel free to post your own theories and thoughts on The 100 in the comments section below.  Thanks for reading and happy viewing!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “Younger” season 6 episode 2: “Baller Move”

Happy Thursday TV fans!  After watching TV Land’s Younger season 6 episode 2, I realized that sometimes “life gives you more than you thought,” but what if it doesn’t turn out exactly how you planned?  Do you continue searching for that possibility or do you settle?  Maybe it’s not settling at all, but accepting and understanding the love that’s been there in front of you the whole time.  But nothing is ever that simple on our favorite show.  Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.  In last night’s episode, “Flush With Love,” Liza and Kelsey attempt to approach Quinn about pushing back her book.  Meanwhile, Zane decides to shake things up with Kelsey and Josh tries to prepare for fatherhood.  My top 5 moments from Younger season 6 episode 2 are:

5

“Guess who wrote a masterpiece…it will be our first release!”

In episode 2, Kelsey is still adjusting to her demanding role as publisher, but quickly realizes that she has a new dilemma on her hands, when a focus group reacts strongly to Quinn’s book, Claw, and not in a good way.  The group has some strong reactions, including one reader who hilariously asks if it is possible to unread something.  Kelsey knows that it will not be easy to simply push back Quinn’s book release since she is her boss, but she worries about having a huge flop on her hands.

Kelsey and Liza team up to try and approach Quinn, but Quinn doesn’t want to hear it and decides to break out into a loud and obnoxious cheer at lunch to get everyone on board.  Kelsey desperately wants to do the right thing here, but is she out of her depth?

4

“I don’t want to be friends with you anymore.”

I’m so glad I didn’t have to wait too much longer for a swoon-worthy moment between Kelsey and Zane since I ship them oh so much!  Zane approaches Kelsey and tells her that he doesn’t want to be friends anymore.  Kelsey realizes that he must have gotten a job, but Charles and Zane still have not revealed their big announcement just yet and I’m anxious to hear it.

However, Kelsey and Zane do share a passionate kiss so it looks like things are looking up for these two, but will Kelsey feel the same way once she finds out what the job is?  We have to assume that Zane will end up being Kelsey’s competition, but I really hope it doesn’t get in the way of their relationship because these two are end game for me.

3

“This kid is so lucky to have you as a dad.”

Liza and Josh continue to share some sweet moments together, when Liza helps Josh out with some baby shopping.  Liza has a lot of experience with being a mother and she helps Josh filter through the list so that he doesn’t panic so much.  Liza tells Josh that he is going to be a great dad and I have to agree, but it looks like Josh doesn’t have much time to prepare when Clare’s water breaks at the reveal party, causing her to begin going into labor in the back of an Uber.

Clare and Josh have a healthy baby girl, but Liza watches Josh with his newborn with an interesting look on her face.  It’s clear that Liza is beyond happy for Josh, but is she now having second thoughts about letting him go?  I’m Team Charles all the way, but there have still been some lingering feelings floating over to Team Josh, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out, although it looks like Josh may be looking to get a second chance with Clare.  We’ll have to wait and see!

2

“Put it in writing…baller move.”

After Kelsey comes up with a plan to back one of Reese’s books before Quinn’s, she starts to have second thoughts, especially when Charles puts his two cents in.  Liza promises that she will no longer keep Charles in the loop, recognizing that it is putting a potential strain on her working relationship with Kelsey.  Kelsey decides to channel her inner baller and meets with Quinn again.  She strikes up a deal with her:  she will release Quinn’s book first and if it’s a flop, Quinn promises she will walk away.

Kelsey doesn’t take any chances here and tells Quinn to put it in writing, but is she making the right call?  Can we really trust Quinn to keep her word?  Either way, I was very proud of Kelsey here in this moment because it’s not always easy standing your ground, but she does it so well!

1

“Did you mean this?”

Even though Liza, Kelsey, and Josh are all dealing with a lot of drama, Diana gets her moment in the spotlight as well.  Diana and Enzo have an argument after Diana talks about how she used to always think she would end up with Charles.  I know that Diana always speaks her mind, but maybe she should remember that some things can come out in a hurtful way, as she ends up driving Enzo away, who thinks that she is merely settling with him.

Enzo deserves better and he’s right, but luckily Diana realizes it before it’s too late.  Diana has her story, “Flush With Love,” published in the newspaper, talking about her modern day romance with Enzo, but she also explains how it is important to dream about the man next to you, rather than focusing on the “man of your dreams.”  Enzo asks Diana if she means it and the two have a sweet moment together.

I’m so glad that Diana realized that she has the real thing with Enzo because these two are absolutely adorable and I can’t bear to see them apart!  There seems to be a lot of love in the air so far in season 6, but we know that drama is never too far away.  Who will crack first?  Stay tuned!

I hope you enjoyed the list and feel free to post your own theories and thoughts on Younger below in the comments section.  Thanks so much for reading and happy viewing!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “The 100” season 6 episode 7: “I Just Want To Live”

Happy Wednesday TV fans!  After watching the CW’s The 100 season 6 episode 7, I learned that “giving up isn’t better” and that sometimes all we need is a little push.  So do we take the easy way out or do we risk it all?  Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.  In last night’s episode, “Nevermind,” Clarke is trapped within her shared mind space with Josephine and unlocks different memories from her past that lead her to the truth.  Meanwhile, we also learn more about Josephine’s past, as Clarke and her face off.  My top 5 moments from The 100 season 6 episode 7 are:

5

“How is this possible?”

In the beginning of the episode, Clarke is present in her mind space and comes face to face with drawings of her past, including some of Wells and Lexa.  Clexa fans everywhere held their breath when she touched the drawing of Lexa sweetly.  Too bad she wasn’t actually there!  Clarke eventually stumbles upon her father, who acts as a sort of guide to get her through this.  She asks him how this is possible while realizing that she must have died, but comes to the conclusion that she is actually still alive.  Clarke’s father inspires her to go and figure everything out and it was sweet to see him return in this episode, as he reminds his daughter not to give up just yet.

4

“I’d keep this memory safe…”

Clarke’s father is not the only one to make a special guest appearance in Clarke’s mind space, as we also get to see A.L.I.E again, otherwise known as “the bitch in the red dress,” according to Murphy.  Clarke realizes that this is some kind of dream or hallucination, recognizing that she destroyed her, but A.L.I.E reminds her that she exists because of her and helps her find a memory that Clarke needs to keep safe.  We flash to Clarke using the EMP on Raven to extract the chip, reminding us that everything that has happened to Clarke has prepared her for this battle now.  Clarke’s memories are the key, but will she be able to find a way to wake up before it’s too late?

3

“I don’t go down easy.”

Clarke also gets to meet the real Josephine face to face, as Josephine tells her that this body isn’t big enough for the both of them.  Josephine may be intimidating, but Clarke is not going out without a fight.  We know that this shared mind space can only hold both of these identities temporarily, as Josephine explains what happens when they share a mind space for too long, which could result in a stroke or brain hemorrhage, killing them both.  Both Josephine and Clarke want to survive and it doesn’t look like Josephine will stop looking for Clarke’s hidden memory.  However, this also leads them both to re-visiting some traumatic memories as well that take a toll on them.

2

“Why are you so torn up?”

After crossing paths with Octavia and Maya, Clarke’s guilt begins to overwhelm her.  Josephine points out that perhaps she has killed more people than she has actually saved, but recognizes that she did what she had to do.  Clarke tries to hide the memory about Raven, but Josephine tracks it down at the spot where Finn died.  This is one of Clarke’s most painful memories and Josephine also brings up Lexa, but Clarke warns her to be quiet, showing her vulnerability when it comes to her lost love.  Clarke wants to be there for Madi and her friends, but Josephine starts to get through to her, realizing that she may need to sacrifice herself to save them once again.  But is she truly ready to say goodbye to her life forever?

1

“Giving up isn’t better!”

It seems like Clarke is ready to say goodbye to her life, but Monty shows up to remind her about who she is and how she can truly do better.  I thought it was fitting to see Monty here because he always represented the hope and goodness of everyone.  Monty teams up with Clarke and they sneak past the door to Josephine’s own memories and unlock some of her painful ones as well.  It looks like Josephine has a lot of issues to work through too, but some of her memories were quite disturbing and she is clearly not over them just yet.  Clarke uses this to her advantage and ends up sending Morse code out to Bellamy using Christmas lights and Bellamy spells out:  ALIVE.

I’m so glad that Bellamy was the one to see this because he has always had Clarke’s back and he now knows that they need to find a way to save her before it’s too late.  This is why I am such a huge Bellarke fan!  I have to say that this was one of my favorite episodes of the series and the show did a fantastic job of bringing back some of our favorite characters while continuing the story-line forward, which worked beautifully.  Clarke’s past is always there, but it looks like she is discovering that sometimes you need to use the past to drive forward to the future.  I think it’s about time we get our girl Clarke back for good!  Stay tuned!

I hope you enjoyed the list and feel free to post your own theories and thoughts on The 100 in the comments section below.  Thanks for reading and happy viewing!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “Younger” season 6 episode 1 season premiere: “Timing”

Happy Thursday TV fans!  The wait is over and your favorite summer show is back!  After watching TV Land’s Younger season 6 episode 1 season premiere, I realized that timing is everything.  You may think you have everything figured out, but sometimes things go in another direction.  So do you stay on the path you are on or do you take a risk and try something new?  Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.  In last night’s episode, “Big Day,” Liza and Charles adjust to life together after Charles’s huge decision, but are they ready to take the next step in their relationship?  Meanwhile, Kelsey embraces her role as the boss, Josh finds out if he is the father of Clare’s baby, and Zane continues to charm us with his mysterious new job possibility.  My top 5 moments from the Younger season 6 episode 1 season premiere are:

5

“It’s harder than I thought.”

Change is in the air, but our girl Kelsey is ready to take on her new position.  Kelsey is beyond excited about being the new publisher, but she quickly realizes that there is a lot that comes with the job.  Kelsey has had to trade in her passion for books for forecasts and spreadsheets and we learn that the company is not doing that great, which puts a tremendous amount of pressure on Kelsey.

That being said, Kelsey is strong and intelligent and I think she will make a fantastic publisher, but this is not going to be easy for her.  I’m ready to go on the adventure with her and it will be interesting to see how the dynamic shifts at the office now.

4

“Are we friends?”

I am so beyond excited that Zane is back this season, as things were kind of left up in the air after he left Empirical last season.  I have been shipping him and Kelsey for quite some time now, but Zane seems like he wants to keep their relationship professional for now, even after Kelsey makes a few hints at some possibilities for them.  We know that Zane is charming and strategic when it comes to business, but what is his next move with Charles?  I’m very interested to find out, but will this put a further strain on his possible relationship with Kelsey?  We’ll have to wait and see!

3

“Don’t encourage them!”

The drama is far from over at Millennial when Kelsey learns that an article is about to be leaked about Charles having an affair with a 28-year-old employee.  Even though we all know this is Liza, it looks like everything is pointing in Kelsey’s direction, which could be quite scandalous for her recent promotion.  Liza finally comes clean and decides to announce to the entire office that she is the one having a relationship with Charles.

Diana is shocked and clearly hurt by this announcement and begins to look elsewhere for employment opportunities, but it looks like Diana just truly needed some appreciation.  Liza and Kelsey track her down at her favorite singing bar, “Marie’s Crisis Café” and put on a show stopping performance to “9 to 5,” which was so much fun and hilarious to watch.  I love this trio right now and I’m happy that Diana ultimately had a change of heart.  We need her!

2

“I know you’re busy but…”

Josh has a lot on his plate when his former wife, Clare, shows up heavily pregnant.  She tells Josh that the baby is his, but Maggie suggests a paternity test to confirm everything.  The results are in and Josh…you are the father!  Josh is freaking out, but he has a heart-to-heart talk with Liza, who promises to be there every step of the way to support him.  Only it seems like Josh still has some lingering feelings, as he talks to Liza about timing and how she is now with someone else.  Even though I’m feeling Charliza, Team Josh is always in the back of my mind as well.  I mean, we need some kind of drama for our girl Liza, even though she is pretty much floating on a cloud with Charles right now.

1

“When I’m with her, I feel free.”

Team Charles and Charliza fans rejoice!  We get some super sweet moments for our favorite couple in the season premiere.  Charles even goes out of his way to surprise Liza with a new bed, which I have to say was absolutely swoon-worthy!  Charles is adjusting to life outside of Empirical and he definitely has a lot to figure out, but it looks like he won’t have too much free time for long, as he is working on something with Zane.

Liza ends up saying “I love you” to Charles and runs away before he can respond, but Charles is ready to take the next step with Liza and ends up saying it back to her later in the episode.  I mean, after all, he has had feelings for her for 16 years now with her recent age reveal!  I can’t wait to see what’s next for Liza and Charles, but it looks like her loyalties may be tested later on when it comes to choosing him or Kelsey.  I can’t wait to see how this unfolds and I’m so happy this show has returned!  Stay tuned!

I hope you enjoyed the list and feel free to post your own theories and thoughts on Younger below in the comments section.  Thanks so much for reading and happy viewing!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “The 100” season 6 episode 6: “Tell Me How to Kill Them All”

Happy Wednesday TV fans!  After watching the CW’s The 100 season 6 episode 6, I learned that “we’re all the hero of our own story,” but there is always a choice to be made.  If we know right from wrong, which path do we head down?  The path toward survival or one toward revenge?  Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.  In last night’s episode, “Memento Mori,” Murphy works with Clarke/Josephine to earn Abby’s trust.  Meanwhile, Raven and Echo take a moral stand, Diyoza attempts to save Octavia’s life, and Madi is haunted by the Dark Commander.  My top 5 moments from The 100 season 6 episode 6 are:

5

“I can’t lose you…”

Murphy teaches Josephine how to be Clarke and she seems to be a quick study, but she does take a moment to recognize that Clarke “was fairly awesome” and I have to agree with her.  Josephine is no Clarke; however, as she is out for herself, looking for a way to trick Abby into teaching the Primes how to make Nightbloods.  Clarke/Josephine proves to be a master manipulator, playing on Abby’s feelings for Kane.  Abby agrees to help, but will she really be on board once she finds out that her daughter is gone?  Let’s just hope she doesn’t give away all the secrets on how to become a Nightblood too quickly.

4

“She’s as lost as they come and yet you help her.”

Diyoza and Octavia are not having an easy time, as Octavia’s life is threatened once again.  Apparently there is a cure to help Octavia, but we quickly learn that she doesn’t have much time left.  Only the anomaly infecting her apparently has a message and Octavia may have been chosen for something?  I’m a little fuzzy on all of this and I’m hoping I get some more details because there are a lot of complicated story-lines going on, but I’m interested to see what this anomaly means for Octavia.

I’m also still loving the friendship between Diyoza and Octavia, as Diyoza sees so much of herself in Octavia and is trying to help her before she “ends up in the same history page,” proving that it’s never too late for redemption, even though Diyoza doesn’t seem to be a fan of the concept.

3

“I take big swings.”

Clarke/Josephine may be a master manipulator, but it is possible that she has finally met her match with John Murphy, who puts his acting skills to the test.  Murphy is a survivor, but we never really know which side he is truly on, but that’s what makes his character so interesting.  After getting thrown into a cell with Bellamy, he is eventually called out, as Bellamy has been burned by him before.

Murphy ends up turning the tables on Clarke/Josephine; however, bringing Russell Lightbourne into the mix to protect his people.  We know that Murphy saw something when he died so his survival instinct is stirring, but let’s hope that he picks a side and stays with it.  That being said, it’s always fun to see this darker and dangerous side of Murphy, reminding us that he is not to be underestimated.

2

“No more lessons…”

“The flame is my guide and I am the flame.”  Well sure, but Madi is getting a lot more than she bargained for when the Dark Commander continues to invade her dreams.  She even starts seeing him in reflections and I have to admit that he is extremely creepy.  Gaia suggests that they complete a separation ritual, but the Dark Commander has other ideas, as he starts to worm his way in, corrupting Madi.

Is Madi going over to the dark side?  It is possible, as she is grieving over her recent loss, ready to learn how to “kill them all.”  Madi is choosing a path of revenge right now, but will she be able to find the light?  Let’s hope that Clarke can kick Josephine out of her mind before it’s too late, otherwise a new Dark Commander may be rising.  I’m loving this story-line and it’s about time Madi got some well deserved screen time!

1

“We do what Clarke would have done.”

Bellamy is grieving over his loss, but he tries to stay strong for his friends, recognizing that he is now the leader and he needs to do right by them because it’s what Clarke would have done.  Bellamy could have easily chosen a path of revenge, but he knows that this is not the right way.  The main focus is on surviving, but this is not going to be easy for our favorite characters, especially when new threats keep getting thrown at them.  Bellamy breaks the news to Madi about Clarke, which was incredibly heartbreaking and he tries to stay so strong for everyone else around him, but it’s clear that his own grief is consuming him too, making the Bellarke fan in me cry along with him.

All is not lost; however, as we get a twist at the end, revealing that the real Clarke is still alive.  She wakes up in a bed and is surrounded by drawings of her friends.  Clarke is holding on even in this small corner of Josephine’s mind, revealing that she is not giving up without a fight.  I personally can’t wait to see it.  Stay tuned!

I hope you enjoyed the list and feel free to post your own theories and thoughts on The 100 in the comments section below.  Thanks for reading and happy viewing!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “The 100” season 6 episode 5: “How Would You Like To Be Immortal Too?”

Happy Wednesday TV fans!  After watching the CW’s The 100 season 6 episode 5, I learned that happiness may look good on Clarke, but Josephine’s presence is beyond dangerous.  Will anyone be able to stop her?  Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.  In last night’s episode, “The Gospel of Josephine,” Josephine adjusts to her new body, Clarke, and tries to keep up appearances, which proves to be more difficult than she initially realized.  Meanwhile, Jordan and Gaia look for the truth and Abby desperately tries to find a way to save Marcus.  My top 5 moments from The 100 season 6 episode 5 are:

5

“How hard can Clarke be?”

Josephine may have experience acting in plays over the years, but being “Clarke” proves to be more difficult than she realized.  While Josephine embraces her new body, she realizes that fooling Clarke’s friends and family will not be easy.  Josephine quickly learns that they speak in another language and she immediately begins making mistakes when she tells Madi that she can go to school after she was so against it before.  Bellamy comments that happiness looks good on her, but what’s lurking beneath Clarke’s body is manipulative and dangerous.  Watch out, Bellamy!

4

“They worship Nightbloods.  I’d like to know why.”

Jordan and Gaia seek out answers after “Priya” doesn’t remember who Jordan is.  Jordan refuses to just accept this even though Bellamy and Murphy initially don’t have his back, assuming that it was a one night stand and Jordan is too naive to realize.  Later on, Clarke/Josephine, Bellamy, and Murphy join Gaia and Jordan and discover some kind of room celebrating the dead and find the mark of the flame.  Gaia initially thinks that the skeletons all belong to past commanders, but we quickly learn that they are something else.  But if they aren’t commanders, “what the hell are they?”

A good question for sure, as the group comes across a video showing the murder of a Nightblood host, realizing that “becoming one with the Primes” can lead to immortality.  Clarke/Josephine tries to put a positive spin on things, but Gaia unintentionally spills the beans about Madi being a Nightblood and Josephine also learns that Abby was able to synthesize Nightblood, turning Clarke into one with science, which definitely gets her full attention.  The secrets are unraveling, but no one seems to realize that Clarke is not Clarke just yet.

3

“It’s because he’s good and true and deserves to live.”

Abby finally gets some more screen time in this episode, as she continues to work on finding a way to save Marcus.  Clarke/Josephine gives her a few ideas that actually seem quite helpful, but as soon as Josephine realizes that Abby can make a Nightblood, it’s clear that she may be in great danger.  Abby has an emotional breakdown at one point and talks about how Marcus deserves to live because he did the right thing when she made so many horrible decisions during the time of Blodreina.

Abby’s guilt is clearly catching up to her now and she has traded one addiction for another.  While it’s possible that she may have kicked her drug addiction, she is spending every possible moment trying to save Marcus, but will she be able to without further consequences?  We’ll have to stay tuned to find out, but I’m feeling some Marcus withdrawal myself.  Bring him back already!

2

“I guess you want to live after all.”

Meanwhile, while all of the Invasion of the Body Snatchers drama is going on, Octavia and Diyoza continue to get into trouble together while trying to track down Gabriel.  Octavia and Diyoza get stuck in some kind of deadly swamp quick sand and apparently “the harder you fight, the faster you die.”  Diyoza stands still, but Octavia continues to stubbornly struggle, which makes her sink that much faster.  Another dangerous threat comes their way, as some kind of flash of light appears that could be fatal.  Diyoza escapes and Octavia hides underneath the quick sand to protect herself, but comes very close to death.

Luckily, Diyoza comes back for her and gets her out of there and tells her that perhaps she wants to live after all.  I’m loving this partnership between these two and I think that they can learn a lot from each other.  After all, Diyoza reminded Octavia that “you can always turn it around” while you are still breathing and perhaps these two can be redeemed.  Either way, I’m rooting for them!

1

“I’m listening…”

Bellamy finally begins to detect that something is wrong with Clarke and approaches her, speaking in the Grounder language to prove his suspicions.  He asks Clarke who she is and she introduces herself as Josephine Lightbourne.  Let’s hope that Bellamy will be OK and can warn the others  before it’s too late.  However, Clarke/Josephine is already recruiting for her plan, as she approaches Murphy and asks him if he would like to be immortal, revealing that Clarke is dead.  Murphy tells her that he’s listening, but is he just trying to get close to Josephine to help his friends or is Murphy looking out for his own survival?

Murphy has come so far as a character, but we know that he has his share of faults.  I’m interested to see this unlikely partnership develop more and I hope there is a way to bring our girl Clarke back, but it doesn’t look like Josephine will leave without a fight.  New episodes return June 11th!  Stay tuned!

I hope you enjoyed the list and feel free to post your own theories and thoughts on The 100 in the comments section below.  Thanks for reading and happy viewing!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “The 100” season 6 episode 4: “Now This I Can Work With”

Happy Wednesday TV fans!  After watching the CW’s The 100 season 6 episode 4, Diyoza reminded us that one must learn to “improvise, adapt, and overcome” in order to survive, but I’m not sure our characters are truly prepared for the secrets of Sanctum.  Let’s just hope they figure it out before it’s too late.  Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.  In last night’s episode, “The Face Behind the Glass,” it’s Naming Day at Sanctum, which we learn is a day of recognizing past sins and also celebrating, but the Primes certainly have a lot more in store.  Meanwhile, Diyoza and Octavia try to help Rose, as the Children of Gabriel continue to be a possible threat, but there are two sides to every story.  My top 5 moments from The 100 season 6 episode 4 are:

5

“Don’t let me be a face behind the glass.”

It’s Naming Day on Sanctum and everyone seems to be in high spirits, as Clarke and the others witness and participate in the rituals, which include placing past sins in floating lanterns, reciting the four pillars of Sanctum:  Repent, Renew, Rejoice, Rebirth, and celebrating with a rave…because that makes sense.  It seems like things are a little too good to be true here and my instincts were right.

Jordan seals the deal with Delilah and opens up to her about what he went through growing up and how it felt like he became a face behind the glass when he entered into Cryosleep.  Right before Delilah goes to accept her fate for Naming Day, she runs back to Jordan and begs him not to let her become a face behind the glass, revealing that something big is about to happen here.  When Delilah emerges, she no longer recognizes Jordan and she is now referred to as “Priya.”

4

“Your problem isn’t making amends…”

Clarke seems to really pay attention when Naming Day talks about the importance of making amends.  Clarke certainly has a lot to make up for and she tries to start with Raven…only Raven doesn’t want to hear it.  Clarke brings up Shaw and Raven tells her, “Keep him out of it,” as she is still clearly heartbroken over his death and rightfully so.  Raven compares Clarke to Octavia and tells her, “The only difference between you and her is Octavia doesn’t pretend to be sorry about it.”  Raven clearly feels betrayed and hurt by Clarke, but she does make a valid point here.  Is it too late for amends or will Clarke be able to finally make things right?  It looks like she may not get that chance now, however.

3

“The devils of earth become the heroes of sanctum…”

After Diyoza is essentially banished from Sanctum, Rose’s bodyguard approaches her and tells her that if she can retrieve Rose, her baby will be able to live in Sanctum.  Diyoza puts the needs of her child first and accepts, even though she would not be able to stay with her child.  Meanwhile, Octavia is being held captive by the Children of Gabriel with Rose and tries to help her too.  Unfortunately Rose is killed in the crossfire, as Diyoza and Octavia now cross paths.

Rose’s bodyguard is beyond heartbroken by the unnecessary death of a child and she tells Diyoza that if she is able to take down Gabriel, the deal will still be honored.  It looks like this is the start of a “beautiful friendship,” as Octavia agrees to partner up with Diyoza.  I have to say that I absolutely love this partnership, as these are two bad-ass women you do not want to mess with.  But are they really choosing the right side?  Either way, I can’t wait to see what they do next together.

2

“You are my family too.”

Bellarke fans get another big moment between Clarke and Bellamy, as Clarke decides to see if Bellamy is more receptive to her apology than Raven.  Clarke is genuine in her apology and Bellamy understands, knowing what it’s like to do anything to protect one person who is your family.  Clarke reminds Bellamy that he is her family too and she promises that she will never forget it again.  I thought there might be a chance here for a potential spark especially when Bellamy and Echo clash, but Echo opens up about having to fight for survival for all her life and Becho is still going strong…for now.  Either way, I thought this was an important moment for Bellarke and if anyone can bring Clarke back, it’s Bellamy or Madi.

1

“You’re giving us such a gift, Clarke.”

After Clarke has a passionate moment with Cillian, this moment is put on hold, as he reveals that he is a spy for the Children of Gabriel.  He uses the paralytic dart on Clarke so he can get her out of there, trying to tell her that she is in more danger where she is because of her Nightblood, or “black blood,” as they refer to it here on Sanctum.  The guards detect what is going on and Cillian slits his own throat to avoid being taken, which seems extreme, but clearly there is a lot of history here.  Clarke is brought before the Lightbournes and Russell realizes that they have the chance to bring their daughter, Josephine back now, realizing that there may be no other option since Rose is gone, who was another Nightblood.

Russell promises Clarke that there will be no pain and that she is essentially sacrificing her body so someone else can live.  The essence of Josephine is placed behind Clarke’s head and when she wakes up, Clarke appears to be gone and only Josephine remains, who seems happy with her new reflection and host.  It seems like the Primes are obsessed with maintaining immortality, which means that Madi is also in danger.  However, is Clarke now gone forever or is there a way to free her?  Let’s hope so because I can’t process a world without Clarke Griffin.  Stay tuned!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “The 100” season 6 episode 3: “Have you ever known peace?”

Happy Wednesday TV fans!  After watching the CW’s The 100 season 6 episode 3, I realized that many of us want that second chance…an opportunity to start over.  But this is not always possible when it comes to a jaded past.  Can one really be redeemed or will past sins consume you until there is nothing left?  Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.  In last night’s episode, “The Children of Gabriel,” Clarke and the others meet the leader of Sanctum, Russell Lightbourne, but is he a friend or foe?  Meanwhile, Madi, Diyoza, and Gaia face a threat on the ship and Octavia is ready for action.  My top 5 moments from The 100 season 6 episode 3 are:

5

“I’m pretty sure I’m going to hell.”

In the beginning of the episode, Murphy’s life is in great danger, as Abby cannot figure out what is happening to him.  The leader of Sanctum, Russell Lightbourne, approaches and reveals that he can save Murphy life…only “he’s already dead,” but apparently this is not the end.  Murphy was exposed to something toxic in the seaweed and Lightbourne uses the venom from a live snake to suck out the poison.  Luckily Murphy is all right, but this near death experience has definitely rattled him.

Murphy explains that he thought he saw something and he states that he’s pretty sure he is going to hell.  So what exactly did Murphy see and will this be explored further?  We know that Murphy died on this mysterious moon for a few moments, so is it possible that he came back wrong?  We’ll have to wait and see, but I am absolutely concerned about Murphy.

4

“You need to work on your game, kid…”

This is the first time that Jordan has really interacted with anyone other than his parents, Monty and Harper, but he doesn’t waste any time, as he immediately connects with a girl on Sanctum named Delilah.  Jordan thinks that she looks like a princess and he even gets to experience his first kiss, but his innocence and naivete get in the way, as Jordan reveals a little bit too much to Delilah about Clarke’s past.  Maybe Murphy should have a talk with him after all…

3

“My sister died a long time ago.”

Meanwhile, we learn that there is another group residing on Sanctum named the Children of Gabriel and they are very dangerous according to the Primes.  They use some kind of paralytic darts on Madi, Diyoza, and Gaia on the ship and keep yelling out “Death to Primes!”  It’s clear that there is some kind of feud going on here, but who are the good guys?  It may be a while until we find out, but this is a threat that should not be taken lightly.

Bellamy, Echo, and Octavia watch from afar, but Octavia refuses to listen to reason and decides to just start attacking…you know, because that’s what Blodreina does best.  Later on, Bellamy decides to leave Octavia behind and tells her that his sister died a long time ago.  At the end of the episode, the Children of Gabriel capture Octavia and plan to take her with them.  Does this mean that Octavia has just found a new group of people to lead or is she in serious danger here?

2

“I will not apologize for saving the people that I love.”

Russell Lightbourne seems to connect most with Clarke and she takes on the leadership role once again.  Clarke surprises everyone when she emerges in a gorgeous dress, revealing that perhaps she has the potential to be a princess as well.  Clarke is nervous about her dinner with Russell and his wife, as she recognizes that he holds the key to their survival.  Abby tells her to just be herself, but Clarke has a very dangerous past.

As Clarke sits down for dinner, Russell’s wife asks her, “How many people have you killed?” and further asks if they should really call her, “Wanheda?”  Clarke learns that Jordan spilled the beans and she just asks for a second chance.  Russell believes that she wants to change, but he doesn’t think this is possible and tells her that they need to leave.  It looks like Russell has been burned before and perhaps we will explore this more later in the season.

1

“You changed your mind…”

After Clarke helps save Delilah from being captured by the Children of Gabriel, Russell agrees to let her stay, but only after he sees Clarke’s nightblood.  It’s clear that having nightblood is very important to the Primes, but is Clarke now in danger as a result?  Clarke is afraid of them finding out about Madi, as she will do anything to protect her daughter.  Everyone can stay for now…except Diyoza, whose reputation precedes her.  How do the Primes know so much about Diyoza?  It seems like we have a lot to explore here, but I’m interested to find out more and let’s hope that our girl, Clarke isn’t in great danger. Stay tuned!
