Ranking the top 5 moments from “Shameless” season 11 episode 5: “Slaughter”

Happy Monday TV fans! After watching Showtime’s Shameless season 11 episode 5, I learned that moving is never easy…especially when you may have a haunted house to deal with…

Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not watched the latest episode yet.

In season 11, episode 5, “Slaughter,” Lip and Tami are forced to look for a new house without any notice. Meanwhile, V goes door-to-door, Frank attempts to eliminate their neighbor problem for good, and Ian and Mickey face some issues during their new job.

My top 5 moments from Shameless season 11 episode 5 are:

5

“How to be a good neighbor…”

Frank has had enough and wants to get rid of the Milkovich family for good. V tries to give him some advice and suggests that they talk to each other reasonably. Only things don’t go extremely well when one of them literally gets branded in front of them while the other begins cooking up a dead deer on their lawn. Kev points out that it is basically like living next to the Manson family, but Frank is determined to break in and take the owner off of life support so that the Milkovich family will have no choice but to vacate the premises.

Only that old lady is a fighter and grabs Frank by the balls when he tries to turn off her life support. Looks like the problem will continue for now.

“You know this guy?”

Ian and Mickey seem to be getting along a little bit better now that they are working together, but when they get held up by Mickey’s cousin, they are forced to think outside the box. This leads to them borrowing an ambulance and stumbling upon a dead body in the back…romantic!

Either way, I love seeing adventures with Ian and Mickey!

“I don’t even know where she lives…”

After discovering that Sandy has a car, Debbie starts to realize that she doesn’t really know that much about her new girlfriend…like at all.

She decides to use Franny’s tracker and is overly concerned when she discovers that Sandy is spending most of the day at a strip club.

Later on, Sandy explains that she bartends there and doesn’t really have a place to live. Debbie seems ready to open up to her as well, but we are thrown for another loop when Sandy’s angry husband shows up outside…she’ll explain later.

As Franny said, “you have been served!”

2

“They called it the Slaughter house before the murders.”

Lip and Tami quickly learn that their house is up for sale. They need to find a new place to live and actually find a cheap place to look at, but there is something going on with this house.

Later on, Kev hilariously explains that there were murders that took place there and that the family was named “Slaughter.” People still hear a baby crying, but it doesn’t look like it is going to scare off Lip and Tami.

Only Lip gets fired from his job and may be going down a dark path now. Let’s hope he doesn’t spiral completely out of control…

“Not today, rednecks!”

Liam has been tortured by the Milkovich family and their racist dog and he has finally had enough. Carl shows him how to use a gun and he decides to shoot it into the air.

Only the bullet actually comes back down and lands on Mr. Milkovich’s head. Is he dead? Is he alive?

I don’t know but things are about to get crazy…

Stay tuned, Gallagher fans!
