Ranking the top 5 moments from “Younger” season 5 episode 7: “I Don’t Care Anymore”

Happy Wednesday TV fans!  After watching TV Land’s Younger season 5 episode 7 last night, I was pleased to learn that many families have quirky holiday traditions.  I mean not everyone gets up in front of a party to yodel to a song from “The Sound of Music,” especially when your boss walks in to get a glimpse of the show, but it’s all in good fun.  Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.  In last night’s episode, “A Christmas Miracle,” Liza tries to make her daughter’s holiday a special one and is willing to tough out a night with her ex-husband to do so, only an unexpected guest shakes things up quite a bit.  Meanwhile, Diana continues to be surprised by Enzo, Maggie refuses to compromise herself, and Kelsey continues to struggle with balancing her feelings for Jake and Zane.  My top 5 moments from Younger season 5 episode 7 are:

5

“It’s so full.  It’s so many pine needles.”

Diana and Enzo’s relationship is continuing to blossom and Enzo decides to show up at her doorstep with a large Christmas tree.  Diana is not too sure that it will really go with her decor and seems worried about the impact it may have on her carpet, but Enzo proves he can deal with Diana’s antics and then some.  He sets up the tree for her and lights it up and even gets her to change her tune a little bit, which shows how much these two truly care for each other.  Enzo is really making Diana happy and she is willing to break out of her comfort zone for him, which may be just what she really needs.

4

“I didn’t make all this work for it to be buried in the artistic sunken place.”

Maggie is beyond excited that all of her artwork has been purchased by a wealthy couple and they continue to spoil her with gifts and attention.  While it seems harmless at first, Maggie quickly realizes that the bracelets she received are basically like “golden handcuffs,” and that she will be required to go on vacations with them and fit into their lifestyle whenever they want.  While Maggie appreciates the money and the opportunity, she is not about to stifle her artistic persona in order to fit into some kind of cookie cutter mold of forgotten artists and she tells the couple exactly what she thinks to their shock and disappointment.  Maggie never ceases to amaze me, as she refuses to compromise herself in any situation.

3

“Can I have one secret?”

In this episode, Kelsey continues to struggle with seeing both Jake and Zane.  Things get beyond complicated when they show up at the office party and Zane kisses Kelsey in front of people.  Jake notices this from afar and takes this opportunity to approach Charles and request that only Kelsey work on his book from now on.  Zane is beyond upset, but realizes that he should have seen this coming, seeing right through Jake’s act.  He says, “The author gets what the author wants,” and is really hitting closer to home with this statement than he realizes.  It seems like Jake is willing to play dirty to get Kelsey all to himself, but is this really the right person for her?  Zane’s feelings for Kelsey are real and passionate and I would hate to see him hurt when he finds out the truth about Kelsey and Jake.  Will she make the right decision before it is too late?

2

“Don’t give up on her.”

Caitlin and Maggie are shocked when Josh stops by before leaving to see his family and gives Liza a holiday gift.  She also gives him one as well and it’s clear that the “just friends” vibe is crossing a line.  Caitlin tries to tell her mother that Josh still loves her, but she dismisses it.  Later in the episode, Caitlin bumps into Josh and tells him, “You’re the best thing to happen to her in a long time…don’t give up on her.”  This causes Josh to stop and think for a moment and it seems like Caitlin may have lit a spark that might not be ready to burn again, especially when we know that Charles is waiting in the wings.  Will this conversation further complicate things between Liza and Josh?

1

“I don’t care anymore.”

After Caitlin begs Liza to perform to “The Sound of Music” in front of the holiday party, Liza eventually gives in to make her daughter happy, but is shocked when Charles walks through the door.  Charles is told that Liza is the woman that the hosts wanted to set him up with to make things even more awkward.  Charles plays along and pretends that this is the first time he is meeting Liza and is delighted to also meet her daughter, now learning that everything Liza did was for her.  When asked what he thinks of Liza, he comments, “She is definitely interesting.”  Sparks continue to fly between these two at the office and Liza is shocked when she gets a very large Christmas bonus from Charles.  After she goes to confront him about it, she discovers that he has already left, but Charles has a change of heart when he sees a promotion for “The Sound of Music” in the taxi.  I have to admit that when Liza returned home and found Charles standing on her doorstep, I was squealing with joy.  Charles simply tells her, “I don’t care anymore” and the two begin kissing.  The moment we have all been waiting for is finally here and it seems like Team Charles is finally getting the chance it deserves.  Now that is a “Christmas Miracle!”  Stay tuned!

I hope you enjoyed the list and feel free to post your own theories and thoughts on Younger below in the comments section.  Thanks so much for reading and happy viewing!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “Younger” season 5 episode 6: “I Didn’t Run Away”

Happy Wednesday TV fans!  After watching TV Land’s Younger season 5 episode 6 last night, I was reminded that trust is not an easy thing to earn back.  Even though we may give someone time or space, it’s difficult to promise that we will never break that trust again, leaving us swirling around in a whirlwind of uncertainty, wondering if we can ever make things right.  Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.  In last night’s episode, “Sex, Liza, and Rock & Roll,” Liza is excited to meet rock star, Chrissie Hart, who proves to be beyond eccentric and extremely hilarious.  Meanwhile, Diana prepares for a sleepover at Enzo’s house and Kelsey has trouble deciding what or who she really wants.  My top 5 moments from Younger season 5 episode 6 are:

5

“It’s real and you deserve it.”

Maggie is beyond excited that her art is selected to be featured at the Whitney and she mingles at her party and meets some interested buyers, which proves that dreams really can come true.  Josh tells her, “you have officially arrived,” and I have to say that it is about time.  Maggie is so talented and her work is unique and expressive, just like her character, which makes this moment truly amazing for her.  I have to also admit that I loved the first real meeting between her and Diana, as we know that Maggie refuses to let anyone step on her.  Remember the Montana incident?  Either way, it’s great to see Maggie finally getting the attention that she deserves.

4

“I hope you’re not here to cock block me.”

Rockstar, Chrissie Hart, is writing a book for Empirical Press and requests that Charles come to pick it up personally at her home in Shelter Island.  Only Charles gets way more than he bargained for when Chrissie gives him the grand tour, which leads up to a box that supposedly contains a “ten thousand dollar dildo.”  Charles is hilarious when he shuts the box before he is scarred for life and reminds Chrissie again to provide him with the book.  When Liza shows up to help out, Charles is relieved to see her, but Chrissie reminds her that she better not cock block her because she plans on “banging his brains out.”  Charles begs Liza not to leave him alone with her, which adds to the comedy, but is Charles finally ready to let Liza back into his life and possibly his heart?

3

“I am a grape.  A very very juicy grape.”

In the beginning of the episode, we learn that Diana is preparing for a sleepover night at Enzo’s place in Staten Island and she is beyond nervous.  When Liza notices everything she has packed, she asks her, “Are you staying over or redecorating?”  Diana hilariously explains that, “I need to prepare for polyester,” but is in for a nice surprise when she walks into Enzo’s home and discovers that it is neat, clean, and well decorated.  In the morning, she is introduced to Enzo’s mother and learns that he still lives with her.  Enzo’s mother begins complaining in Italian that Diana is too old and that he brought her a raisin instead of a grape, but Diana shocks them both when she replies in Italian, “I am a grape.  A very very juicy grape,” proving that there is no one in the world who can take down Diana.  Enzo’s mother is beyond pleased that she speaks Italian and Diana reminds her that her age is none of her business.  Once again, it looks like the relationship between Diana and Enzo is proving to be a delightful surprise and Diana deserves every second of happiness.

2

“So someone like you?”

Kelsey continues to struggle with her feelings for both Jake and Zane and it only gets worse in this episode.  Zane is frustrated by Jake’s chapters and demands that Kelsey get him on the phone so that they can discuss it.  While Jake doesn’t like Zane’s “tone,” Zane harshly reminds him that he doesn’t like his chapter, which makes this rivalry a dangerous one, since it mixes both business and pleasure.  After Kelsey thinks she has it all figured out with Jake, Zane throws her a curve ball and tells her what she wants.  He says that she wants someone who can challenge her, but also make her happy.  Kelsey stops thinking with her head and begins kissing Zane passionately.  When she returns home the next morning, she tells Lauren and Josh what happened and Lauren tells her to have them both when she asks who she should choose.  While we still don’t know what Kelsey will ultimately decide, it’s only a matter of time before Jake and Zane find out about each other, but will this damage the book deal?  Will Kelsey make the right decision?  While Jake is a nice enough guy, as Zane pointed out, “Nice is code for dull,” and there is nothing dull about our girl Kelsey.

1

“I didn’t run away.”

After Liza and Charles are able to escape the antics of Chrissie Hart when she passes out, Liza corners Charles and asks him, “When are you going to trust me again?”  The silence is too much for her to handle and she desperately wants to talk things through with him.  However, Charles is still not able to open up to Liza about how he is feeling and says goodnight to her.  Even though there is only a door between them, you can feel the tension brewing, wanting nothing more than to come screaming to the surface, but Charles is still not ready to put his emotions and heart on the line.  Liza is disappointed to learn that Charles leaves in the morning and she speaks to Chrissie and tells her what an inspiration she was to her and how much she helped her after her marriage fell apart and that she can continue to help others and delivers the manuscript to Charles.  When Charles asks Liza how she was able to get this, she reminds him that she didn’t run away, putting the ball back into his court.  Will Charles wait too long to let Liza know how he truly feels?  We know that Josh is waiting in the wings and it’s only a matter of time before Liza closes the door on her feelings for Charles for good.  Will Charles and Liza finally get a chance to explore a real relationship?  Stay tuned!

I hope you enjoyed the list and feel free to post your own theories and thoughts on Younger below in the comments section.  Thanks so much for reading and happy viewing!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “Younger” season 5 episode 5: “You Become What You Do”

Happy Wednesday TV fans!  After watching TV Land’s Younger season 5 episode 5 last night, I learned that we might not always know what the future holds for us, but that doesn’t mean that running away is the answer.  Even if we think that there is nothing left for us somewhere, a glimmer of hope can still prevail, proving that “you can’t go wrong committing to yourself.”  Do we take the leap of faith or do we opt for the safe choice?  It’s impossible to know which option will work out better and both may fail miserably, but if we don’t try, we’ll end up with something even worse, regret.  Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.  In last night’s episode, “Big Little Liza,” Liza continues her relationship with Don, but is in for a surprising twist.   Meanwhile, Josh contemplates leaving New York, Lauren gets schooled on what is relevant, and Kelsey grows closer to her author, Jake.  My top 5 moments from Younger season 5 episode 5 are:

5

“I don’t want to share you tonight.”

Kelsey and Zane’s new author, Jake, invites Kelsey to be his plus-one at a party.  It seems harmless enough, but as the night goes on, it’s clear that Jake has romantic feelings for Kelsey.  After taking her on the rooftop away from the rest of the party, he awkwardly asks her if he can kiss her, but Kelsey doesn’t turn this request down.  They share a kiss and Kelsey starts to realize that their relationship may not just be professional anymore.  Zane is not blind to Jake’s growing crush on Kelsey and reminds her, “You’re too smart to do something to jeopardize this.”  Zane is looking at this from a business angle, but there may be some jealousy involved as well.  Is Kelsey making the right decision?  I still feel that she is better suited for Zane, but it may take losing him for her to realize that he could be the one.

4

“Please keep your mingling to a minimum.”

Lauren is preparing for a make-up event and introduces us to her new intern, Tam.  After Josh asks who he is, Lauren reminds him that “you can’t just assume everyone’s pronouns buddy,” and explains that “their name is Tam.”  At the party, Lauren tries to school Liza and Maggie on what’s appropriate and on trend, but Maggie hilariously says, “I was less confused in the closet.”  After Lauren fails to get Tam to commit to a Selfie or a photo with her, he tells Lauren that she is trying too hard and that no one even posts anymore.  Lauren is shocked to realize that she is now considered “old,” as she has always prided herself on knowing what’s relevant before everyone else.  Will this cause Lauren to have a further crisis or will she be able to accept who she is and own it?

3

“Your life is your life but why are you smashing your face into bread?”

The funniest part of the episode for me is when Liza discovers that her daughter, Caitlin, is into “breadfacing.”  Liza is horrified by this and tries to understand it, but Maggie does not hold anything back when she explains that people are definitely “jerking off” to what she is doing.  After several failed attempts to reach Caitlin by phone, Liza sits down at dinner with her and asks her why she is doing this.  Caitlin explains that it is just for some extra money, but Liza reminds her that “you are what you do,” which is advice that she can apply to her own situation as well.  Liza hilariously begins rubbing her own face against a loaf of bread at dinner to get Caitlin to see her point, proving that she doesn’t care what anyone thinks.  However, she still feels the need to lie about her age at her job.  Even though Charles has explained why she must continue to lie, it seems like Liza can take some lessons from her older and wiser self.

2

“I’m not ready to give up yet.”

In this episode, we learn that Josh needs to make a huge decision on whether or not to stay in New York and continue his lease for the next ten years.  Josh has clearly been damaged by commitment and starts to wonder if he might be better off starting fresh somewhere else.  He confides in Liza about this and tells her that he feels like he is done with this place.  Liza desperately tries to get him to see the good and tells him that, “this place is your passion, your soul.”  She reminds him that “you can’t go wrong committing to yourself,” but Josh is still confused at this point on what he should do.  He asks her what is keeping him there and explains that he doesn’t have her, even though Liza tells him that she will always be a part of his life.  Later in the episode, Liza freaks out when she sees the Inkburg sign being taken down and rushes up to Josh to try and get him to change his mind.  Josh explains that he is just replacing it with a bigger sign to her relief.  Josh and Liza embrace in a hug and it’s hard not to notice the spark still lingering between these two.  Josh tells Liza that he’s not ready to give up yet, but it’s clear that he is talking about more than New York and his place of business.  Josh and Liza still have unresolved feelings that will reach the surface sooner or later, but this doesn’t make their friendship or relationship any less complicated at the moment.  Either way, I am happy that Josh will be sticking around.

1

“I think I might know why you can’t find work.”

In this episode, Don returns and him and Liza seem to be hitting it off.  While I don’t really see the passion like with her and Charles or with her and Josh, Don seems to be a nice enough guy who is making Liza laugh.  After Liza slips on the ice, Don picks up her two ID cards and Liza tells him the truth about her situation.  Liza quickly learns that you can’t trust everyone and Don uses this as an opportunity to expose Liza in a story for Vanity Fair.  A Fact Checker begins calling Liza, Kelsey, and even Reese Witherspoon’s company, looking for confirmation on Liza’s age.  Liza panics when she is asked for an answer, but thinks on her feet and says that she is “age queer” and doesn’t identify with any age.  Kelsey jumps on the bandwagon as well and surprisingly this works and even creates a buzz on Twitter.  Later on, Liza confronts Don and he reminds her that he was just doing what he needed to do and is no different from her.  Liza reminds us why we adore her so much when she tells Don that she thinks she knows why he is having trouble finding work and says, “Because you’re an asshole Don.”  I have to admit I started cheering for her in this moment and I hope that Liza realizes that she deserves much better.  However, this should teach her a valuable lesson about trust and maybe it’s about time that the truth comes out to everyone, even though there will be consequences.  Stay tuned!

I hope you enjoyed the list and feel free to post your own theories and thoughts on Younger below in the comments section.  Thanks so much for reading and happy viewing!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “Younger” season 5 episode 4: “Maybe if you get to know the Real me”

Happy Wednesday TV fans!  After watching TV Land’s Younger season 5 episode 4 last night, I learned that sometimes good things can happen when you least expect them to.  Who would have thought that a clogged toilet at a party could lead to a fabulous and romantic date with an old flame?  Surely not Diana, but it’s about time she gets a chance at her own happy ending.  Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.  In last night’s episode, “The Talented Mr. Ridley,” Liza meets a new potential romantic interest who shows her the way of “plus-oneing.” Meanwhile, Josh tries to push the reset button, Kelsey keeps Zane at a safe distance, and Charles continues to try and deal with the truth about Liza.  My top 5 moments from Younger season 5 episode 4 are:

5

“It is a game isn’t it?”

At the beginning of the episode, Diana is hosting a game night party at her apartment and decides that they should all play “Mafia.”  Liza gets randomly selected as the “murderer” and chooses Zane as her first victim.  After Kelsey accuses Liza automatically because she is drunk, Charles tries to lead the townspeople to see through Liza’s lie.  Liza tries to gently remind Charles that it’s just a game, but it escalates further when he tries to take out some of his own bottled anger about Liza’s real life lie on her.  Liza stays cool, however; and convinces the “townspeople” that Charles is the murderer.  Even though it’s just a game, Liza quickly realizes that Charles has yet to come to terms with her earth shattering news.

4

“I said crash not smash.”

After Kelsey has too much to drink at Diana’s party, Zane offers her a place to stay.  Kelsey appears to have strong feelings for Zane, but she has been trying to keep things casual especially since they work together.  After noticing that Zane changed his shirt at work, she asks him if he is going out on a date, but then reminds him that it’s his business.  It’s obvious that Kelsey and Zane have the potential to become a couple, but are they ready to take the next step?  It looks like Kelsey is going to explore a new romantic interest of her own in the next episode, which could be a conflict of interest at work, but will this completely sever any chance she has with Zane?  We’ll have to stay tuned to find out, but I am hoping that both Kelsey and Zane can let their walls down and give their relationship a real chance.

3

“The last time you picked up a stray you married her.”

Josh makes the decision to give up sex and alcohol for 90 days, but quickly learns that this is no easy task.  He explains that he feels like he needs to do a full reset to get his life back on track.  With almost perfect timing, Josh finds a stray dog, Hawkeye, who is impossibly adorable to distract him.  After sleeping with the dog’s owner, Josh returns defeated to Maggie who tries to help him laugh it off and reminds him that a glass of wine and a good conversation can be the actual remedy that he needs.  Josh is still trying to find his way, but it’s nice to see him have friends like Maggie and Lauren there to help him figure it out.  I am still waiting for Josh and Liza to discuss their conversation before his wedding, but it seems like we will need to wait a little bit longer for this moment to happen.  After all, good things come to those who wait and all that.

2

“He knows…everything.”

After Charles lashes out on Liza’s potential new romantic interest and author, Don Ridley, she tries to confront him again and suggests resigning.  Liza confides in Kelsey and tells her what is going on, but promises she will do her best to fix it.  Charles continues to shut Liza out, but ultimately takes a step in the right direction when he tells her that he should not have acted that way toward a potential client and tells her that Millennial needs her to survive.  Liza takes this opening as a chance to potentially make things right and suggests, “maybe if you get to know the real me,” but Charles tells her to forget it.  While Charles is able to apologize to Liza, he is still not able to let her in after all of the lies, but is there any chance that time will help heal his broken trust?

1

“Oh my God I’m going on a date with my plumber!”

After Diana’s toilet gets clogged during her party, Liza assures her that she will call a plumber to take care of the problem.  Diana explains that “this party, like my marriage, is too gay for its own good,” dismissing the idea of finding a potential romance anytime soon.  Diana is beyond surprised when she opens the door and sees Enzo standing in front of her who she had a hot and passionate fling with in the past.  Enzo asks her out on a date and Diana happily accepts.  Enzo takes her to a romantic Italian restaurant in Staten Island and tries his best to impress Diana.  I have to say that I absolutely love the potential romance here and I really hope that it works out for Diana.  It’s about time she finds her chance at happiness.  Fingers crossed!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “Younger” season 5 episode 3: “Sometimes I am blind to what’s right in front of me.”

Happy Wednesday TV fans!  After watching TV Land’s Younger season 5 episode 3 last night, I learned that sometimes you want to believe in the lie so much that you start to actually think that it’s the truth.  Only it eats away at you until you ultimately make the decision on whether or not to release it.  Even though it may be easier to have others believe in the story, sometimes being real and upfront can show others that a happy ending is possible, but it may not be in the cards right now and that’s perfectly OK.  Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.  In last night’s episode, “The End of the Tour,” Pauline is having a difficult time coping with the end of her marriage when she goes on her book tour.  Meanwhile, Kelsey joins a new dating app, Lauren tries to talk some sense into Josh, and Charles confronts Liza.  My top 5 moments from Younger season 5 episode 3 are:

5

“You probably don’t need to get that detailed.”

As Pauline prepares for her book tour, she has trouble coping with the fact that her marriage is over.  Diana suggests that she “postpone the truth,” but Pauline is interested in what Liza thinks.  Liza explains that people find themselves wanting to believe in the story, but Pauline is not so sure she can keep the lie going.  After over sharing about her sexcapades with Charles outdoors, Liza gently reminds her that perhaps they don’t need to get that detailed with the lie, but it seems like Pauline is hanging on by a thread at this point.

4

“You’re a born romantic.”

After being dumped by Claire, Josh is trying his best to move on and have as much meaningless sex as possible.  However, Lauren tries to set him straight on this and explains that as his roommate there should be some common courtesy, which includes “no roamers, no moaners, and no giving out the Wifi password.”  I have to say that I am loving the budding friendship between Lauren and Josh.  Sometimes Josh needs someone to just tell him how it is without worrying about hurting his feelings.  Josh confides in Lauren that he thinks that he might have already met the right person and Lauren shows off her softer side when she tells him that if it’s meant to be, nothing will keep them apart.  While we don’t know if Josh and Liza will patch things up anytime soon, it looks like Lauren will be a good influence on him.

3

“My story isn’t over and my happy ending is still out there.”

Pauline’s book tour isn’t going exactly according to plan.  While she is able to read a passage from her book eloquently, once we get to the question and answer portion she breaks down in tears whenever she is asked about her own personal relationship and how she was able to get back together with Charles.  In “Marriage Vacation,” she has a passage where she compares her sex life to a restaurant and is asked what restaurant it represents now.  Pauline hilariously breaks down in tears and blurts out something about Korean Barbecue and how it’s so “spicy.”  When Charles comes to one of her readings, Pauline cannot pretend anymore.  She tells the audience the truth and explains that her story isn’t over just yet.  Pauline feels much better now that she has cleared her conscience and it seems like her readers will respect her even more now.

2

“I love your confidence.  Sometimes it’s even sexy…sometimes.”

The sparks continue to fly between Kelsey and Zane and escalate even further when Zane comes up on her Yara dating app, which is apparently a big deal.  Kelsey is not as excited about it, but starts to think that it may have more potential than she initially gave it credit for when it also presents a potential match in Jake who will be working with both her and Zane.  Kelsey even asks him if “three’s a crowd,” which seems like it will now present even more of a dilemma for Kelsey both professionally and romantically, but we will have to stay tuned to see how this unfolds.  Either way, I am loving the vibe between Kelsey and Zane, but it seems like she is having mixed feelings at this point.

1

“Sometimes I am blind to what’s right in front of me.”

After brooding for some time, Charles confronts Liza at the end of the episode and asks her, “Who are you?”  Clearly Charles is hurt and frustrated when he finds out that she has been lying to him all this time.  He tells her that she betrayed him and that their relationship will be a professional reporting one from now on.  Liza tries to interject and suggests that perhaps she should leave instead, but Charles harshly reminds her she did all of this to be able to work.  When Charles walks away from Liza, the lie has finally caught up to her and I’m not sure if she will be able to mend his broken heart.  Perhaps it’s about time Liza comes clean with everyone, but is it too late for that?

Ranking my top 5 Horror TV Shows: “Well good news I found a piece of pie with no blood on it. Anybody want a bite?”

Greetings TV Fans!  With all of the excitement centered on the release of the trailer for the upcoming Halloween film, I started to really think about some of my favorite horror films of all time and then I realized that there are quite a few TV shows that fit the bill as well.  Whether you enjoy campy horror, slasher suspense, or zombies galore, horror TV shows have been around for quite a while and still stand the test of time.  For today, I am going to be ranking my absolute favorite horror TV shows.  Please note that for this list I have decided not to include TV shows that overlap in fantasy, supernatural, and sci-fi.  For example, shows like Supernatural, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charmed, and True Blood will not be included because I think they have so many other layers with elements of horror.  That being said, if you have read my blog before, you know that I am a huge fan of these shows, but I wanted the chance to let some other horror TV shows take the spotlight.   Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch any of the series below yet. My top 5 horror TV shows are:

5

Slasher

I recently got the chance to binge-watch the first two seasons of Slasher on Netflix and I have to say that the show pulled me in right away.  If you are a fan of slasher films like Scream, this is the show for you.  The first season centers around the character, Sarah who finds herself caught in the middle of a series of murders that are very similar to the murder of her own parents.  The opening episode is beyond terrifying featuring the killer, The Executioner, who will give you nightmares for sure.  The second season follows a completely different story-line and has more of an Agatha Christie type feel, as we learn about a group of friends who were responsible for killing a girl many years ago and try to put together the missing pieces when they later return.  Each season brings different elements to the table, but has a healthy dose of gore, mystery, and twists that are not that easy to guess, which is refreshing.

4

Scream Queens

I am a huge fan of campy horror and I thoroughly enjoy films like Shaun of the Dead, Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, The Evil Dead franchise, and The Cabin in the Woods.  I think there is something to be said about the perfect blend of horror and comedy that is just pure genius.  Even though Scream Queens only lasted two seasons, this show had me laughing out loud and screaming whenever the Red Devil made an appearance.  The show follows a sorority who is targeted by the killer, but I have to say that Niecy Nash playing the security guard, Denise is the absolute best part of the show.  While you may think you have seen a million movies like this before, Scream Queens really delivers and I was beyond disappointed when the show was cancelled.

3

Bates Motel

Have you ever wondered what turned Norman Bates into the infamous killer in Psycho?  Bates Motel gave us the chance to really dive into the dark and creepy world of Norman Bates.  The show is a prequel and we get a glimpse into Norman’s life as a teenager.  The acting on this show is outstanding and the characters really draw you in, as you almost feel sympathy for Norman as you see the events that lead to his breakdown.  The show has an eerie and mysterious feel, drawing the viewer in seamlessly.  While we don’t see as much blood and gore in this particular show, Norman’s actions are bone-chilling and beyond creepy, which scare us in an entirely different way.  When Norman dresses up as his mother, it’s scary how he is able to emulate her mannerisms and words to perfection.  While the show answers many questions from Psycho, it also does a great job of paving its own identity, causing you to be on the edge of your seat at all times, never knowing what to truly expect from the Bates family.

Ash vs Evil Dead

Ash vs Evil Dead is another show that is the epitome of campy horror.  Bruce Campbell is a genius and I have been a fan of the Evil Dead franchise for a long time.  The show gave fans the chance to fall in love with Ash Williams, or “Ashy Slashy,” all over again, accepting that the only person who can stand in the way of evil is not afraid to deliver a well thought out pun just before destroying a deadite in grotesque and creative ways.  The show also allows fans to get to know the Ghost Beaters, Kelly and Pablo, who team up with Ash against the she-devil, Ruby, played by the absolutely fabulous Lucy Lawless.  The show recently aired its series finale, but provided fans with three seasons of fun, gore, comedy, and great music.  You are seriously missing out if you do not check this show out.  “Groovy.”

Some honorable mentions before revealing my number one pick are:

  • Scream
  • It
  • Are You Afraid of the Dark?
  • Twin Peaks
  • The Twilight Zone
  • Goosebumps
  • The Strain
  • Hannibal
  • The Walking Dead franchise

American Horror Story

It should be no surprise that my favorite horror TV show is FX’s American Horror Story.  The show is created by Ryan Murphy and does an amazing job of covering every element of horror.  Each season features a different premise with a new type of evil never lurking too far away.  While each season is unique in its own way, my absolute favorites are Coven, Hotel, and Murder House.  The show is not afraid to test boundaries and will have you on the edge of your seat the entire time.  There have been some moments on the show that have been so frightening that I was not able to sleep without seeing Twisty the Clown appear in my nightmares.  The show does a great job of bringing one’s fears to the surface, but it also really looks into the darkness that exists within society as well, which really elevates the show.  The most recent season focused on a cult, proving that humanity can be just as capable of performing evil as spirits and vampires.  I was also very intrigued by the comparison of each season to a circle of hell from Dante’s Inferno Dante’s journey through each circle exposes him to different types of sin and evil that exist in the world and within society, which adds even more complexity to American Horror Story.  I am beyond excited to see what the next season brings and what sins it will explore next.

I hope you enjoyed the list and feel free to share some of your own thoughts and comments on your favorite horror TV shows.

Ranking the top 5 moments from “Younger” season 5 episode 2: “Maybe I can Slide into your DMs.”

Happy Wednesday TV fans!  After watching TV Land’s Younger season 5 episode 2 last night, I learned that sometimes pretending can become a full time job and take a heavy toll on us.  Whether it means displaying a fake smile or a disingenuous upbeat tone to our voice, sooner or later it catches up to us and all we want to do is scream something real.  While sometimes it’s appropriate to pretend in many situations, it’s important that we never compromise who we are and what we stand for in the process.   Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.  In last night’s episode, “A Titanic Problem,” Charles tries to deal with the new information he has obtained about Liza, but is having a hard time with it.  Meanwhile, Josh returns from Ireland, Lauren launches her new business idea, and Liza comes up with an idea to help Millennial.  My top 5 moments from Younger season 5 episode 2 are:

5

“We’re not great.  We’re Heller Good.”

The outrageous and outspoken Lauren is back in episode 2, played by Molly Kate Bernard, and she is ready to launch her new PR firm.  Everyone seems excited to see her video promoting it and it starts out harmless enough, but ends with a cheetah with Lauren’s face on it.  Kelsey hesitantly asks her if she’s sure she wants to say she’s not great, but Lauren is extremely excited about inserting her name into “Heller Good.”  Lauren is known for being a bit eccentric and over-the-top and it’s great to see her focus her energy on creating her new business venture, but I’m looking forward to seeing her grow as a character and get a noteworthy story-line.

4

“Reese Witherspoon’s Pick.”

In the beginning of the episode, we get some exciting news that Pauline’s book, “Marriage Vacation” is now being included in Reese Witherspoon’s book club.  Liza and Kelsey are ecstatic and they get to sit down with someone from her team to discuss details.  While Empirical Press is in trouble after the scandal with Edward L.L. Moore, this is the right kind of publicity that will really shift Millennial into the spotlight.  Well deserved ladies!

3

“Maybe I can slide into your DMs.  Did I say that right?”

After Josh returns, Liza casually mentions that she didn’t hear from him and he explains that he sent her a DM.  Liza is hilariously confused by the meaning of this and Kelsey and Josh break it down for her.  Liza tries to work it into the conversation later at work, but mistakenly says she is “slipping” into DMs.  Kelsey explains the correct lingo and then also tells her that it sounds like she may be looking to initiate something romantic when she says that.  As if this wasn’t already hilarious enough, Diana tries to work the phrase into her vocabulary to ensure she is hip and says to Lauren, “Maybe I can slide into your DMs,” with confidence.  Once Lauren walks away, she frantically asks if she said it right, which keeps the laughs coming.

2

“Everything’s going to be OK.”

When Josh returns from Ireland, it initially seems like everything is fine and that he is just waiting for Claire to arrive.  However, he later confides to Liza that she is not coming back.  Josh breaks down crying on Liza’s shoulder and asks, “What the hell’s wrong with me?”  Liza consoles Josh and is there for him completely as a friend, but we know that romantic sparks are never really extinguished between these two.  I have always been Team Josh even though I do often find myself shipping Liza and Charles too, but Josh’s feelings toward Liza are so real and epic.  That being said, Josh has a lot of growing up to do, as he wears his emotions on his sleeve and often makes impetuous decisions that lead to disastrous results.  He is in his 20’s and mistakes are going to happen, but will he finally see what’s been right in front of him all this time?  Liza may have lied to Josh, but her feelings have always been genuine and the chemistry between these two is undeniable.  But will these two finally get a chance to have a real relationship without all of the drama mixed in?

1

“I am not good at pretending.”

Charles has no idea how to process the information he has been given about Liza.  We see him looking through the newspaper clippings of her marriage and old photos and then witness the confusion written all over his face when he glances down at Liza’s funky outfit at work.  After speaking with his friend who is a lawyer, he is given the advice that he needs to keep on pretending that she is 27 because another work scandal could be catastrophic.  Charles continues to bottle up his feelings and tries to avoid Liza as much as possible.  When Liza pitches the incubator deal, he initially says he has to think about it because his mind is cluttered with way too much baggage at the moment.  At the end of the episode, Charles is finally direct with Pauline and tells her that he doesn’t love her anymore.  While these words harshly cut right to the point, Charles is overwhelmed by how much he has to pretend and he can’t handle pretending with Pauline too.  Charles’s feelings for Liza clearly complicate this situation even further, but will he be able to accept her knowing that she has lied to him over and over?  Even though he has been advised to keep pretending, will Charles ultimately confront Liza?  Stay tuned!

I hope you enjoyed the list and feel free to post your own theories and thoughts on Younger below in the comments section.  Thanks so much for reading and happy viewing!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “Younger” season 5 episode 1 season premiere: “My Feelings are There and they’re Real”

Happy Saturday TV fans!  So I finally got the chance to binge-watch the first four seasons of TV Land’s Younger on Hulu and I have to admit that I’m absolutely hooked.  If you haven’t gotten a chance to watch the show yet, I absolutely recommend it.  It kind of has a romcom feel, but goes so much further than that.  You will absolutely fall in love with every character on the show and the episodes are a little over 30 minutes each so you can get through full seasons rather quickly.  Sutton Foster is absolutely fabulous as Liza Miller.  You may think you know what the show is about after seeing some of the previews or commercials on Hulu, but I have to say that the show went far beyond my expectations.  While the love triangle between Liza, Josh, and Charles is addicting enough, what sets this show apart is its ability to redefine labels and stereotypes in a world focused on social media and appearances.  It may seem slightly far-fetched that Liza is able to fool almost everyone into thinking that she is 26 years old, even though she looks amazing for her age, but somehow it works.  Her continuation of her new identity allows her to reinvent herself, but not without making mistakes along the way.  Now that I am finally caught up, I was excited to watch the season premiere of season 5 on my DVR.  Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.  In last night’s episode, Liza comes back from Ireland and tries to tell Charles how she feels, but is interrupted by an HR convention on sexual harassment.  Meanwhile, Kelsey and Zane try to balance their feelings for one another, while maintaining an even playing field at work.   My top 5 moments from Younger season 5 episode 1 season premiere are:

5

“Do you want to say something Liza?  Could destroy the company but we’ll support you.”

When Zane joined Empirical, he brought back one of the top selling authors, Edward L.L. Moore, who is beyond eccentric and extremely creepy when it comes to his advances toward Liza when she is dressed up as “Princess Pampam.”  While this seems like a huge win for Empirical, Moore is accused of inappropriate behavior, which could bring more trouble than he is worth.  Charles tries to speak openly to Liza about Moore’s past behavior toward her and Diana impatiently waits for a response.  Miriam Shor is absolutely hilarious as Diana, as she combines the perfect blend of unaware rudeness with a get-to-the-point attitude.  While she may come across harsh sometimes, she has displayed some wonderful moments with Liza as well, proving that she does care about others after all.  Diana basically says everything that you may be thinking, but shouldn’t really say out loud, but she refuses to apologize for this and I wouldn’t have it any other way.  After watching the previews for upcoming episodes, I’m excited to see that her mystery construction man will be making another appearance, which may finally give Diana a chance at some real adventure and love.  Maybe she’ll even bring back the jeans into her wardrobe.

4

“I think he’s making a mistake but I’m the last person who could tell him that.”

Liza and Kelsey rehash what happened in Ireland and are shocked by Josh’s impetuous behavior.  After putting his feelings out there for Liza the night before his wedding, Josh ultimately decides to go through with it, crushing my hopes and dreams for these two to get back together.  Even though Josh, played by Nico Tortorella, is charming and absolutely swoon-worthy, his immaturity often gets the best of him, causing him not to always make the best decisions.  While Josh hasn’t returned just yet, I can’t imagine that the drama is over between him and Liza.  We’ll have to stay tuned to see how long he actually stays married to Claire, but I’m going to give it three weeks top.  After all, that will match the actual time they have been together.

3

“You’re so desperate for my approval.”

So I am absolutely shipping Kelsey and Zane.  I am a big fan of Charles Michael Davis from The Originals and it’s nice to see him put the blood-lust on the back burner while he shows off his immaculate suits and irresistible charm on Younger.  Kelsey has not had the best luck with men.  I am still beyond shocked over her fiancé, Thad getting crushed by construction debris earlier in the series.  I mean I was not a fan of Thad at all or Chad for that matter, but that was not what I had in mind for his exit from the show.  I definitely did not like the hinted vibes between Josh and Kelsey after they became roommates and was thrilled to see the introduction of Zane’s character in season 4 to steer away from this.  Zane is the perfect match for Kelsey and I think that if they ever moved in together, they would have the most amazing wardrobe between the two of them.  While Kelsey seems hesitant about moving forward with Zane, it doesn’t look like he is giving up on her just yet.  But will their competitiveness at work block all possibilities of a stable relationship?

2

“What happened in this office was incredible.  My feelings are there and they’re real.”

When Liza comes face to face with Charles again, her feelings come rushing to the surface as well.  Josh has moved on and put a “ring between them,” but Liza realizes that a relationship with Charles would be beyond complicated.  Especially since she has gotten so close to his wife, Pauline, which would make things very messy.  When Liza tells Charles how she feels, he awkwardly explains that he is asking Liza about what happened with Edward L.L. Moore and they are then interrupted by Diana before they can discuss their feelings any further.  I have gotten used to the unresolved tension between Liza and Charles and it seems like the timing is never quite right, but it seems like everything is about to change.

1

Edward L.L. Moore tells Charles the truth about Liza.

At the end of the episode, Charles announces that they are postponing Moore’s books because of the allegations against him.  Moore is not about to go quietly, however; as he pays Charles a visit.  He reveals that he has files on all of the women involved, including Liza.  He tells Charles about Liza’s real age and that she is a divorced housewife from New Jersey.  Charles is beyond shocked, but can’t dispute the evidence in front of him, especially when he sees the marriage certificate.  I have to say that it is about time Charles found out the truth.  We know that Liza’s deception had damaged the relationship between her and Josh and her friendship with Kelsey in the past, but this discovery is something earth shattering.  Charles is Liza’s boss and he also has very real feelings for her.  Even though they haven’t gotten a chance to see their story through, what will happen now that Charles knows the truth?  Stay tuned!

I hope you enjoyed the list and feel free to post your own theories and thoughts on Younger below in the comments section.  Thanks so much for reading and happy viewing!

Ranking the top 5 moments featuring Svetlana from “Shameless” season 8: “What is the point of smiling?”

Happy Tuesday TV fans!  When looking back on season 8 of Shameless, I have to admit that one of my absolute favorite characters is Svetlana, played by the fabulous and beautiful Isidora Goreshter.  While the main story-lines of season 8 focused around most of the Gallagher family, one cannot discount Svetlana.  Without even trying, she is absolutely hilarious and unapologetic for who she is.  She is smart and powerful, but ultimately she just wants to be able to live the “American Dream.”  While Kev and V initially team up against her, they eventually put their efforts toward helping Svetlana get married.

For today, I am going to be recapping and ranking the top 5 moments featuring Svetlana from season 8.  Whether she was demonstrating basic math skills, kidnapping “bottom feeders,” or hilariously asking about the actual point of smiling, Svetlana steals the spotlight and one can’t help rooting for her.  Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the full season yet.  My top 5 moments featuring Svetlana from Shameless season 8 are:

 5

Svetlana is ready to teach us basic math. (Moment from Season 8, episode 5)

In episode 5, Svetlana is back and is ready to teach us basic math.  It is great to see Svetlana back in the bar, but she is immediately ready for business and explains to V that profit should be 50/50 even though there are three parties involved.  V is not about to give up so easily, but Svetlana explains that she does the majority of the work and even shows her numbers that prove she makes the majority of the money during her shift.

When V is still not ready to budge, Svetlana decides to get her to sign the contract with her terms another way…with sex of course.  V is no match for Svetlana at this point and ultimately signs the contract.  Kev’s shock about what happened combined with detailed questions is hilarious as Svetlana proudly walks out of the house holding the contract.  50/50 wins after all.  And who said you can’t put your math skills to good use?

4

Svetlana gets an unexpected visitor.  (Moment from Season 8, episode 9)

V decides that Kev’s newfound dominance could best be used to convince Svetlana to wear a new dress code, which he enforces to her enjoyment.  “Dominance…boom.”  Even though Svetlana is covering up her “tatas,” she still rocks some seriously fashionable glasses.

Svetlana gets an unexpected visit from a woman she had helped smuggle into the country, which she previously referred to as a “bottom feeder,” only to get a slap of reality, realizing that the “bottom feeder” now has the American Dream she so desperately wanted.  Svetlana is horrified at her own circumstances, wondering if she made the right choices for herself.  Svetlana is not about to let anyone step on her, however.

 3

Kev and V try to coach Svetlana on how to secure a rich husband. (Moment from Season 8, episode 10)

After setting up an online profile for Svetlana, Kev and V are horrified by her actions on her first date, which involve an outfit mostly covered in fish-net and ending in a punch in the face.  Kev and V try to “coach” Svetlana on “etiquette” and how to behave on a date, suggesting smiling as an easy first step.  Svetlana asks, “What is the point of smiling?” not falling for the bait.

Kev and V realize that their best hope of finding Svetlana a rich husband is to have her wear a microphone and earpiece so Kev can talk her through what to say.  Svetlana seems reluctant at first, but Kev reminds her that “this is spy shit.  It’s in your DNA!”  After the code words fail and Kev realizes he forgot to test the microphone, he is still confident that his words of wisdom will help Svetlana.  However, Svetlana takes off her ear piece and goes back to what she knows best…grabbing the man’s “goods” and seeing where this will take them.

 2

Svetlana tries to humble herself. (Moment from Season 8, episode 11)

In this episode, Kev and V are still invested in finding Svetlana a millionaire of her own.  Svetlana even writes down all of her skills on a napkin to prove her worth, after taking her friends out to a fancy hotel bar to find a man.  Kev is excited when he gets approached, but learns it is not for Svetlana, but for the “chocolate one.”  After explaining that V is his wife, the man offers to pay him $4000 for an hour with V, which even V is considering at this point.  After all they do have bills to pay.

Security explains that they have a strict “no prostitute policy,” and Svetlana comes to the epiphany that she needs to humble herself and go talk to the Russian “bottom feeder.”  After her rival spits on an expensive gown in front of her and tells her that she would rather throw it out than give it to her, Svetlana realizes that she is getting nowhere.  However, when the billionaire mistakes Svetlana for his bride to be in his old age, she realizes that all may not be lost after all.

At the end of the episode, Svetlana drags a body bag into the bar and tells Kev and V that she is not dead yet with a glowing smile of victory.  One should never underestimate Svetlana and I am rooting for her to finally obtain the “American Dream.”

1

Svetlana gets married.  (Moment from Season 8, episode 12)

Svetlana’s plan seems to be going well when she kidnaps her former Russian friend, Frelania and keeps her held hostage at Kev and V’s home.  After realizing that she has the chance to successfully steal her husband and obtain the American Dream of becoming a rich trophy wife, there is no stopping her.  I mean priorities, right?  Kev and V are on board to help her and Kev fully embraces his new role as the “father of the bride.”  However, when Svetlana explains that if Frelania “tries anything you cut her face,” he is a little hesitant to put the machete to use.

Svetlana explains that the next part of their plan involves keeping Frelania’s mother, Zlata distracted, as she is the only person who will be able to recognize Svetlana at the wedding.  Kev hilariously dresses up as a chauffeur, complete with ripped sleeves underneath the suit jacket, and displays a sign at the airport reading, “Zlata…super long last name” with an arrow.  Zlata is known to have a “taste for human flesh,” so Kev and V decide to try out her appetite for vodka to keep her as far away from the wedding as possible.

Everything seems to be going seamlessly when Svetlana walks down the aisle in a gorgeous wedding gown, only for Kev to find out that there is a Prenup.  Just as he reveals this to V, Svetlana says “I do.”  It looks like Kev and V’s plan was a success, as Svetlana is out of their lives, but hopefully she will find someway around this Prenup.  After all, we know what measures Svetlana is willing to take to get her way.

While Shameless has been renewed for season 9, Isidora has commented that she is not coming back to the show.  The character of Svetlana will be missed for sure.  Isidora is beyond talented, as she was able to turn a minor character into one of the best on Shameless Thanks for all of the laugh out loud moments, Svetlana!

I hope you enjoyed the list and feel free to post your own thoughts  and favorite moments on Shameless in the comments section below.  Thanks so much for reading and happy viewing!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “Supernatural” season 13 episode 21: “Beat the Devil”

Happy Friday TV fans!  After watching the CW’s Supernatural season 13 episode 21 last night, I learned that enemies can easily become unlikely allies when they have something valuable to offer.  While Lucifer may be the devil himself, his fondness for “Sammy,” helps the Winchester brothers out of quite the jam, but is everyone truly ready to make a deal with the devil?  Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch yet.  In last night’s episode, “Beat the Devil,” Gabriel’s archangel grace is tapped out, leaving only one other option on the table.  Rowena and Gabriel grow closer and execute Sam’s plan to capture Lucifer so they can get back into the rift to finally rescue Jack and Mary.  While Lucifer is captured, he tries to break Rowena, leading to his own ticket into the rift.  A tragic moment puts Dean on edge, but he is finally reunited with his mother.  This is not the only family reunion in the cards, however; as Jack comes face to face with his father, Lucifer.  My top 5 moments from Supernatural season 13 episode 21 are:

5

“Pep talks and melodrama.”

In the beginning of the episode, Rowena attempts to cast the spell to open the rift with Gabriel’s grace, but his performance is “premature,” as it is unable to hold the rift open.  Gabriel’s grace is clearly tapped out and everyone realizes that they need Lucifer to keep the rift open.  While this is no one’s first option, they don’t have any other choice.  While Sam, Dean, and Castiel try to come up with a plan, Rowena comically comments that they are like “the three amigos” and explains they will be a while with their “pep talks and melodrama.”

4

“We were just reading books.”

While they are waiting to hear the plan, Gabriel and Rowena suddenly realize that they are attracted to one another and decide to have an adventure of their very own behind the bookcase.  When Sam, Dean, and Castiel return, they are beyond shocked and disturbed.  While it’s clear that they were not just reading books, Dean doesn’t want to hear the details and tells them that Sam has a plan.  While Gabriel later comments that he can “cross having sex with a 300 year old red-head off his bucket list,” these two actually have a lot in common.  Will it be a one-time fling or is there a romance in the cards for Rowena?

3

“All the people I love to torture in the same room.”

Lucifer is drowning his sorrows at a bar, confiding in the bartender about his problems with his son.  It seems like Lucifer is no longer concerned with heaven or hell and has focused all of his energy on Jack.  After he starts to get a little woozy, the bartender is revealed to actually be Gabriel who puts his trickster skills to good use along with a “magical roofie.”  After Rowena makes her entrance, Lucifer comments, “I killed you too.”  The plan is a success and they hold Lucifer captive so that they can keep his grace on tap to ensure the rift stays open.  While we know that it’s impossible to keep Lucifer detained forever, everyone heads into the rift and Rowena stays behind to “babysit” Lucifer.

2

“Step into my office.”

While Lucifer is being held captive, he puts his best effort forward to break Rowena and tries to hit a nerve.  He compares her situation to the “woman staying home in the kitchen,” while the boys go to handle the real work, but Rowena stays strong, refusing to give him the satisfaction of upsetting her.  When this doesn’t work, Lucifer resorts to some off key singing that is beyond annoying, but Rowena keeps her cool.  Lucifer finally strikes a nerve when he brings up killing her and Rowena tries to bring him down by telling him that his son considers Sam, Dean, and Castiel to be his real family.  Lucifer channels his anger and is able to break free.  He wounds Rowena and she deflects him with her magic into the rift in self-defense.  While this is clearly the last thing anyone wants, Rowena has second thoughts about leaving the Winchester brothers to fend for themselves and gets to work by opening her spell book to come up with something to help.

1

“Hey Sammy.”

When Sam, Dean, and Castiel go through the rift, they wind up in a different entrance again and need to make their way to Dayton.  They help some strangers who are being attacked by starved vampires on the way and learn that the quickest way to Dayton is through a tunnel filled with these monsters.  Sam is brutally attacked and dragged off, as Dean screams out to him.  Castiel goes after him, but explains that it is too late and that Sam is gone.  Dean is barely able to process what has just happened, but keeps on going.  When he finally reunites with his mother, Mary, a single tear falls down Dean’s face, which is beyond heart-breaking.  Lucifer’s entrance through the rift proves to be useful after all, as he brings Sam back to life.  Sam knows that he wants something in return and is afraid to hear what he has to say.  Lucifer merely explains that “I want what you already have.  A relationship with my son.”  Sam is initially confused by this, but Lucifer further explains that he wants Sam to tell Jack that Lucifer is responsible for saving him, so that Jack can be grateful toward Lucifer and begin to feel something for him.  Sam begrudgingly accepts since the alternative is to get eaten by vampires yet again, but everyone is beyond shocked when Lucifer walks into the camp with Sam, finally getting the family reunion he was so desperately longing for.  Will Jack accept him?  While we know that Lucifer will come in handy in the fight against Michael, what else does he secretly have planned?  The devil can never be trusted, but it looks like the Winchester brothers do not have a choice at this point.  Stay tuned!

I hope you enjoyed the list and feel free to post your own thoughts and theories on Supernatural in the comments section below.  Happy viewing!
