Ranking the top 5 moments from “Supernatural” season 15 episode 14: “Last Holiday”

Happy Sunday TV fans! After watching The CW’s Supernatural season 15 episode 14, I learned that “we do what we gotta do,” but sometimes it doesn’t hurt to take a moment to celebrate the little things.

Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.

In episode 14, “Last Holiday,” Sam, Dean, and Jack meet a wood nymph named Mrs. Butters who is determined to get the boys to celebrate. Meanwhile, Jack tries to come to terms with his ultimate mission.

My top 5 moments from Supernatural season 15 episode 14 are:

5

“What’s with the apron?”

I mean, there is only one answer here, Sam. Burgers! It’s been quite some time since we last checked in on Sam and Dean and I’m happy to have these final new episodes to enjoy.

After taking some time to cook up a storm, Sam and Dean take on a new mission…dealing with a few old pipes. I mean, they should be able to handle this, right?

4

“That’s it. I’m getting my gun.”

Later on, Dean walks into his room and finds a woman folding his “under garments.” We learn that she is a wood nymph named Mrs. Butters who used to work for the previous Men of Letters.

She seems to know quite a lot and even introduces Sam and Dean to a monster radar system they never knew they had and…supper.

It looks like they might have hit the jackpot on this one, but can she be trusted?

3

“Enjoy the world you’re fighting for.”

Merry Christmas! Oh and let’s cram in every other holiday too to really have some fun. I have to admit that it was adorable seeing Sam and Dean light up when they got a chance to experience a snapshot version of each holiday.

Supernatural season 15 episode 14

Dean’s pajamas deserve a special mention too!

2

“I would never hurt them.”

We quickly learn that Mrs. Butters is actually too good to be true. She sees Jack as a threat and wants to protect Sam and Dean, which really puts Dean in a difficult spot. Dean’s reaction is hilarious, but he recognizes that he needs to save Jack and tries to get Mrs. Butters to see reason.

Meanwhile, Sam gets tortured by Mrs. Butters, but luckily Dean comes up with a plan to get them out of there safely.

1

“You’re the only one who can…”

After talking things over with Mrs. Butters, she realizes that she was being used previously and actually parts on good terms. Things are back to normal, but we take a few minutes for Jack and Sam to have a heart-to-heart talk.

Sam believes in Jack and tells him that he can do this, but the sweetest moment was when Dean brought in a birthday cake for Jack.

Supernatural Dean gets Jack a cake

It’s been difficult for Dean to accept Jack back into their lives, but I thought this was an important first step and Jack’s reaction was priceless.

Ranking the top 5 moments from “The Walking Dead” season 10 episode 16: “A Certain Doom”

Happy Friday TV fans! After watching AMC’s The Walking Dead season 10 episode 16 season finale, I learned that the way we survive is…together.

Please note MAJOR spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.

In episode 16, “A Certain Doom,” the group faces off against Beta and The Whisperers while dealing with an overwhelming walker horde. Meanwhile, heroes are made and old friends return.

My top 5 moments from The Walking Dead season 10 episode 16 season finale are:

5

“This is the only way.”

A plan is quickly hatched to get through the horde of walkers, which means that several of our favorite characters will need to camouflage themselves with skins and blood to get through undetected. The plan is to reach the wagon to lead the horde away, but we witnessed some chilling and intense moments during this scene.

Beatrice draws the short straw and ends up brutally eaten by the horde while Carol lets her die.

It was clear from the start that not everyone would make it, but this moment of hesitation within Carol was an interesting one. She made the conscious decision to turn around and keep walking, giving us an every man for himself approach. This decision makes a lot more sense and provides us with some understanding when we get toward the end of the episode, however.

4

“It’s okay…”

Maggie is back! After seeing her in the very beginning of the episode, I was wondering when she would show up to save the day. After Gabriel and Judith are trapped, it looked like Gabriel was going to hold the line so that his friends could get to safety.

Gabriel put up a valiant effort, but Maggie and her new masked friend burst through the doors with perfect timing to save the day.

Welcome back Maggie!

TWD Maggie Returns 10 16 AMC

So, who is this masked stranger and where did he or she pick up those crazy moves? We’ll have to wait to find out, but I’m actually intrigued.

3

“I ain’t no hero. You could be.”

We’ve been watching the character growth and transformation of Negan over the seasons and it seems like our anti-hero is embracing this new side of him, but it’s not always easy shedding your previously selfish ways.

TWD Daryl and Negan 10 16 AMC

Images courtesy of AMC

We get this epic moment where Negan calls Beta out as a “shithead” so that he is distracted enough for Daryl to put him out of his misery after blinding him.

Only we get this weird moment where Beta actually seems elated to be eaten alive…

I think it’s about time he was defeated…

2

“It has to be me.”

Lydia really stole the show for me. After having a talk with Carol, she opens up and tries to get Carol to welcome a friendship between them. Lydia clearly states that she is not looking for a new mother, but Carol initially brushes her off and tells her to find her own way.

Later on, the group loses the wagon and decide to lead the walkers off a cliff, but it means someone has to jump first to bring them over the edge.

Carol volunteers as tribute and we get this emotional moment where she stands at the very edge, but Lydia grabs her hand at the last second and Carol finally allows her emotions to run free, embracing her.

TWD Carol and Lydia 10 16 AMC

Images courtesy of AMC

It looks like Carol finally wants to live and I have to say that it’s about time. Well done, Lydia!

1

“We still have things to do here.”

Well, right. This is TWD and we know that we have one more season to wrap things up. At the end of the season finale, we finally get to see Connie and learn that she is alive…although she is pretty beaten up for sure.

TWD Connie 10 16 AMC

Images courtesy of AMC

Connie needs some assistance, but the person to pick her up is…Virgil. Yep, remember him? We’ll have to see how this unfolds, but I’m happy that Connie is all right for now. We need to see a reunion between her and Daryl as soon as possible!

Meanwhile, we circle back with Eugene and the others, but it doesn’t look like Stephanie hung around. Eugene is ready to keep looking for her, but they are then surrounded by strangers in uniforms who tell them to put their weapons down.

Friends or foes? I’m not sure, but it looks like we have our major set-up ready for the final season.

I hope you enjoyed the list and feel free to post your own thoughts and theories on TWD in the comments section below.  Thanks so much for reading and happy viewing!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “The 100” season 7 episode 16: “The Last War”

Happy Sunday TV fans! After watching The CW’s The 100 season 7 episode 16 series finale, I remembered that “whatever happens next, we stick together.”

Please note MAJOR spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.

In episode 16, “The Last War,” Clarke steps up to take the test for all of humanity, but is she really the right choice? Meanwhile, a distraction quickly becomes a war while Emori tries to hold on.

The end is here and I have mixed thoughts on the series finale, but I will forever love this show.

My top 5 moments from The 100 season 7 episode 16 series finale are:

5

“Just save her.”

The beginning of the episode brings us right back in where we left off. Murphy, Jackson, and Raven attempt to save Emori’s life. Unfortunately she doesn’t make it and Murphy’s reaction completely shattered my heart.

Murphy demands that they put Emori’s mind space into his own head so that he can see her again, but we know that only one mind can survive…

Seriously, Memori too? I am still in tears.

Memori The 100

Images courtesy of The CW

Emori tells Murphy that he can’t do this and wants him to wake up, but Murphy tells her that a few more hours with her is worth more than spending forever without her.

4

“You don’t know my pain.”

After Bill initiates the test, the higher being comes to him in the form of his daughter, which gave us some intense foreshadowing for sure. Clarke arrives and kills Bill, but it does not stop the test.

Instead, she has to now face it and her guide is…Lexa! Yep, that’s right. The return of Lexa is finally upon us. Clarke embraces her immediately even though she understands that it is not her, but I did shed quite a few tears. Clexa still gives me chills.

Clarke and Lexa The 100

Images courtesy of The CW

Clarke challenges the higher being again and again, but she fails the test for all of humanity.

3

“Yours is an interesting choice.”

Clarke accepts defeat and tells Raven that she wants to be with Madi. I’ve always said that if there is anyone I completely trust to save me, it’s Raven Reyes and she taps into the test as well to try her luck.

Raven comes face to face with Abby, which gave us a chance to say hello to another beloved character. Raven always thought of Abby as her own mother and they had one of the most complicated and real relationships on the show.

Raven and Abby The 100

Images courtesy of The CW

Raven is told that the test is over and that humanity has failed, but she tries to get the higher being to change her mind, asking her for the chance to do better and live.

2

“The only way to win is not to fight.”

The higher being tries to show Raven that her people are already at war, proving her point that they are not ready for transcendence. Sheidheda shows up with bad timing to inspire violence, but Indra gets rid of him pretty quickly. It’s about time…

Meanwhile, Levitt tries to get everyone to stop fighting and is shot, as Octavia rushes over to save him. The character growth that we have been witnessing for seven years illuminates before us as Octavia stands before everyone and tells them not to fight.

She explains that, “We are mankind. We are Wonkru…our fight is over.” Bellamy would be proud.

Octavia The 100 series finale

Images courtesy of The CW

The higher being is surprised when everyone actually stops fighting. But instead of giving them all a chance to live like Raven requested, she decides to let them transcend anyway…

We’ll get to that later.

1

“A curious species indeed.”

Transcendence begins and everyone starts turning into little glowy balls of energy. We know that the dead cannot transcend which means that we will not see Bellamy, but this does save Memori, Echo, and Levitt so there’s that.

Clarke says goodbye to Madi and she is able to transcend as well, but she is left alone.

Luckily Clarke has the dog to keep her company, but when he rushes off, she screams out that she doesn’t want to be alone.

Clarke failed the test, but also committed murder during it, which means that she is not able to transcend with the rest of humanity. Clarke has always been the one to bear the burden so that her friends don’t have to, but this is to the extreme.

The higher being appears to her again as Lexa and explains that “transcendence is a choice.” Her friends have chosen to return to stay with her even though they will  be giving up their chance at ultimate transcendence, reinforcing the “live together, die alone” motto from LOST.

Clarke embraces her friends and we are left with an uplifting soundtrack to end the series.

I’m glad that Clarke is with her friends again, but I have several issues with the series finale. I hate that we never got the chance to witness a Bellarke moment and I’m not really sure why everyone got to transcend.

Wouldn’t it have made more sense to actually grant Raven’s request for them all to live? I mean, I guess Memori and the others wouldn’t be saved if we went down that route, but it just seemed like a cop out to me.

I love this series and it’s one that I plan to go back and re-watch again, but I guess I wanted something more from the finale.

Either way, the journey is over…May We Meet Again.

I hope you enjoyed the list and feel free to post your own thoughts and theories on The 100 in the comments section below.  Thanks so much for reading and happy viewing!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “The 100” season 7 episode 15: “The Dying of the Light”

Happy Saturday TV fans! After watching The CW’s The 100 season 7 episode 15, I learned that “war is a failure of everything,” but is there a difference between a war and a test? We’re coming to the end now, but who will make it out alive?

Please note MAJOR spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.

In episode 15, “The Dying of the Light,” Clarke teams up with Octavia to rescue Madi. Meanwhile, Murphy and Raven work together to try and save Emori.

Another emotional episode that still has me in tears…

My top 5 moments from The 100 season 7 episode 15 are:

5

“Let’s do it.”

The 100 season 7 episode 15 Octavia and Clarke 1

Images courtesy of The CW

Clarke and Octavia don’t waste any time after Madi willingly transports herself to the Disciples. I have always liked the Clarke and Octavia duo, but this might be their toughest challenge yet.

They have both faced so much and yet they are still being tested again and again.

I still feel like Clarke will be the one to take the final test for humanity, but one should never discount Octavia Blake, who has one of the most developed and interesting character arcs I have ever witnessed on a show.

4

“Everyone I love dies.”

Literally everyone featured in this episode takes a few minutes to reflect on how many loved ones they have lost. Clarke reveals that if she loses Madi, she will have nothing and be nothing.

Clarke has always risked it all to save everyone else, but what happens when she has nothing left to live for?

Is it possible for the test to reset everything or is everything final? We’ll have to wait and see, but I have to imagine that there is some kind of happy ending waiting for Clarke Griffin.

She deserves it after all she has been through…

3

“We need a distraction.”

Sheidheda is finally put to good use when Clarke and Octavia arrive. They recognize that they can’t rush in to save Madi with guns blazing and make a deal with Sheidheda. Sheidheda releases some of his fury on the Disciples and shows off just how terrifying and ruthless he can be.

He has made an exit for now, but it’s only a matter of time before he shows up again to create some more drama.

2

“You choose everyone.”

The 100 season 7 episode 15 Raven

Images courtesy of The CW

After the explosion, Memori gets pinned under some rubble and has a wound that is bleeding out quickly. Murphy and Raven work with Jackson to save Emori’s life, but she is running out of time.

Memori has some heartwarming words that really got to me. I seriously cannot handle another loss like this as I am still not fully recovered over what happened to Bellamy.

Raven’s friendship with both Murphy and Emori is so beautiful and she does everything in her power to get her friend back to Sanctum so Jackson can operate on her. However, Emori tells Raven to choose everyone, recognizing that Murphy will not be able to make the difficult choice.

Raven convinces her that she can save her and the rest of the world and if there is anyone I am putting my faith in…it’s Raven Reyes.

Hang on Emori!

1

“I’m right here.”

After Madi’s valiant attempt to deal with Bill’s memory machine, she suffers from a massive stroke and is essentially brain dead. Octavia and a heartbroken Clarke find her. She is breathing, but Levitt says that it is not recoverable.

The 100 season 7 episode 15 Clarke and Madi

Octavia refuses to let Clarke live with this and tells her that she will be the one to end Madi’s life. She reminds Clarke that Madi can hear her, as Clarke sings to her.

Before Octavia can pull the trigger, Levitt explains that Bill retrieved the memory he needed and Clarke realizes that she cannot let Bill be the one to take the test for all of humanity.

She promises Madi that she will make this right and be back for her, as the episode ends with Madi shedding a single tear that had me sobbing uncontrollably.

Seriously, I don’t know if I can handle any more heartbreak on this show.

One more episode left.

How will it end?

May we meet again…

Ranking the top 5 moments from “The 100” season 7 episode 14: “A Sort of Homecoming”

Happy Saturday TV fans! After watching The CW’s The 100 season 7 episode 14, I learned that sometimes you are meant to wind up exactly where you started. So, do you take the fresh start or head back into the heart of unknown destruction?

Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.

In episode 14, “A Sort of Homecoming,” Clarke and the others are reunited back on Earth, but not everyone is ready to leave the people of Sanctum behind. Meanwhile, Sheidheda strikes a deal with Bill that endangers Madi and everyone attempts to cope with an unspeakable loss.

My top 5 moments from The 100 season 7 episode 14 are:

5

“I killed him…I had to.”

Clarke doesn’t hold anything back and immediately tells the others that she killed Bellamy. Octavia and Echo tell her that they understand, recognizing that the Bellamy they knew and loved was gone and that the true Bellamy would understand. There is a lot of coping going on in this episode as each character deals with this loss in their own way.

I have to admit that I even shed a tear when we saw Murphy crying, which was extremely emotional for me.

4

“Welcome home.”

When one door closes, another one opens. At least we finally find out where Gaia is and learn that she is alive and well. Phew!

The 100 7 14 Indra and Gaia The CW

Images courtesy of The CW

Gaia fills us in on what we’ve missed and everyone is reunited…at least for now.

3

“We were all Blodreina.”

Being back on Earth proves to be difficult for Octavia. Many of her memories come rushing back from her time as Blodreina and we even see a flashback of Kane. Indra reminds Octavia that they were all Blodreina and explains that they will face her demons together, which was a nice sentiment.

2

“I decided for everyone. That’s what I do.”

Madi is upset with Clarke for killing Bellamy to protect her and Clarke breaks down to her and tries to explain that this is what she does. This is not the first time we have seen Clarke carry the weight of the world on her shoulders to protect her friends.

The 100 7 14 Clarke The CW

Images courtesy of The CW

She makes the hard decisions so that they don’t have to, but this was probably the most difficult one of her life.

That being said, let’s hope it was worth it…

1

“No one else is dying to save me.”

After making a deal with Bill, Sheidheda is somehow still OK to continue to annoy us and goes after Madi, revealing what he knows about her memories. Clarke realizes that she is in danger, desperately trying to find her before it is too late.

Madi is actually taking a minute to enjoy herself, learning piano from Gabriel, which was a sweet moment.

The 100 7 14 Gabriel and Madi The CW

Images courtesy of The CW

Unfortunately the moment is short-lived, as Gabriel is stabbed by invisible Sheidheda. Gabriel dies trying to save Madi and Sheidheda manages to go through the anomaly after getting quite the beat down from the incredible Indra and Gaia tag team.

Madi refuses to let anyone else die because of her and uses the knife to transport herself to Bill before Clarke can stop her. Then, we get more visitors and some kind of cave-in like explosion that could potentially trap or endanger Memori…don’t even get me started on that.

We know that Clarke has always been trying to protect her daughter, but Madi is capable of true leadership and strength and perhaps Clarke needs to have faith in her.

Only two episodes left!

May we meet again.

Rest in peace, Gabriel.

I hope you enjoyed the list and feel free to post your own thoughts and theories on The 100 in the comments section below.  Thanks so much for reading and happy viewing!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “The 100” season 7 episode 13: “Blood Giant”

Happy Thursday TV fans! After watching The CW’s The 100 season 7 episode 13, I am left in complete shock. We learned that “the path of the prophet is always hard,” but wow…seriously I still haven’t even dealt with what I just watched.

Please note MAJOR spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.

In episode 13, “Blood Giant,” Clarke realizes that she has walked into quite the mess, but the Disciples are only interested in obtaining the key. Meanwhile, we get some character reunions, a timely release of the killer bug toxin, and a shocking demise that I never saw coming.

My top 5 moments from The 100 season 7 episode 13 are:

5

“Here’s my proposal…”

Bill and The Disciples don’t want to be bothered with whatever primitive nonsense Sheidheda is leading and they make a proposal. Bill wants to go on his way and get the hell off his planet, explaining that Sheidheda can then do whatever he wants.

To show he means business, his invisible guards easily take out Sheidheda’s men and wound him, reminding us who the bigger threat is here.

We also finally get a mention of Gaia, as everyone knows that she is not where she is supposed to be. I guess we’ll catch up with her soon, but at least everyone is on the same page now.

4

“Two bugs with one stone.”

The 100 season 7 episode 13 The CW 1

Images courtesy of The CW

I don’t know who comes up with the timing on this show, but while everything is going on, the toxins and killer bugs are also released with the red sun. Remember that? The bugs try to eat your face and the toxins cause our characters to see deadly hallucinations.

Luckily Emori comes up with a plan to keep the bugs out and has really stepped up as a hero. Just think about how far her character has come. The selfish cutthroat is now a leader and a really good one. Plus, she’s just so incredibly cute with Murphy!

Maybe at least we will get one happy ending for one of our ships…

3

“It’s good to be back.”

The 100 seaosn 7 episode 13 The CW 2

Images courtesy of The CW

Josephine is back. Well, sort of. As the toxins leak into the air, Gabriel gets infected and begins having hallucinations of Josephine. She tries to talk him into volunteering as tribute to be the one to “save the world,” but he has a change of heart at the last second and destroys the flame.

See ya, Josephine!

2

“You live with what you’ve done.”

The 100 season 7 episode 13 The CW

Images courtesy of The CW

We get several character reunions during this episode. Clarke is reunited with Madi and Raven and Murphy manage to make us laugh quite a few times to give us some nostalgia. However, I kept getting the feeling that a main character was about to die and it seemed like all signs were pointing to Raven.

As Raven enters the reactor, her guilt and remorse eat away at her. Nikki shows up and threatens to kill her, but Raven admits that what she did was wrong and tells her she understands.

However, Nikki decides to actually let Raven live, which really threw me for a loop. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely adore Raven Reyes, but I thought she was the character to go.

In order for The 100 to truly reach its peak as we approach the series finale in a few episodes, someone has to go.

So if not Raven, then who?

Even Indra gets her shot at ending Sheidheda’s life and decides to let him just bleed out, refusing to waste any more time on him.

And here we go…

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD…

1

“I said I wouldn’t lose anyone else…”

After the flame is destroyed, the anomaly is opened by Bill and Clarke demands that he take them to their missing friends. Bill agrees, but Bellamy is still heartbroken after losing his Disciple friend.

He tries to tell Clarke that he has been trying to save them all, but she doesn’t want to hear it and tells him, “so much for together.”

Sheidheda continues to be the worm that he is and points Bellamy to the book that would expose Madi. We know that Clarke will do anything to protect her daughter, but Bellamy tries to reason with her.

In a completely shocking and heartbreaking moment, Clarke tells Bellamy she is sorry too and shoots and kills Bellamy.

We get a final shot of his lifeless body to confirm that Bellamy Blake is actually dead this time.

The 100 season 7 episode 13 The CW Bellamy Blake

Images courtesy of The CW

There’s no question about it, Bellamy Blake is dead. He is the main character to go, but I have a lot of mixed feelings on this one.

First off, why did we waste so much time on thinking he was dead to find out that he was actually alive for us to get to this moment? It really angered me.

Not only will I not get the Bellarke moment I have been dreaming of, but now even the idea of Bellarke has been shattered.

Lexa was shot and now Bellamy was shot. There is some poetry here for sure.

I guess I want to see what the point of this was. Has Clarke actually achieved what Bellamy was trying to do? Perhaps Clarke has been the prophet this entire time and did what was necessary to protect what she believes in, which Bellamy had been struggling with for the past few episodes.

This just proves more and more that Clarke is the ultimate key and I have to imagine that she will be the one to step up to the test for all of humanity.

May we meet again.

Rest in peace, Bellamy Blake. My soul is shattered.

Ranking the “I Know What You Did Last Summer” movies from Best to Worst

“What you waiting for, huh? What are you waiting for?!”

I Know What You Did Last Summer 4

Images courtesy of Showtime

A question that all fans of IKWYDLS know all too well. The popular film franchise is based on the book by Lois Duncan, which I actually read before I saw the first film. If you haven’t read it yet, I definitely recommend it. Things happen differently in the book, which may allow some of your favorite characters to get some deserved redemption.

When I think about 90’s slasher movies, I automatically jump to films like Scream, IKWYDLS and Urban Legend. They are fun, entertaining, and they keep you on the edge of your seat. Humor and teen drama weaves its way in while we witness some pretty intense scares as well.

I was super excited that Showtime added the IKWYDLS films to its lineup, which gave me a chance to catch up on all three films. Yes, there are three films…we’ll get to that later. The deadly fisherman with a hook for a hand becomes all too real after four friends make a fatal mistake that will haunt them forever…or at least for the next few summers.

Please note some spoilers are ahead.

Without any further delay, let’s find out exactly how I ranked the I Know What You Did Last Summer films and why.

1

I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997)

I Know What You Did Last Summer 1

Images courtesy of Showtime

The original film is the best one by a landslide. Released in 1997, it stars Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Ryan Phillippe.

There is something really unsettling about this film in all the right ways. The villain is truly terrifying, the music is creepy, and some of the scares still haunt me till now. Seriously, I check my closet every single night before I got to sleep because of what happened to poor Helen (SMG).

I Know What You Did Last Summer 2

Images courtesy of Showtime

The characters are far from perfect. They make a terrible mistake that comes back to haunt them. The killer doesn’t just want to eliminate them…he wants to mess with them and make them question everything and everyone around them.

Standout Death:

Spoiler alert. Do not read if you have not seen this movie!

I Know What You Did Last Summer 5

Images courtesy of Showtime

Helen Shivers played by Sarah Michelle Gellar had the potential to be a fantastic Final Girl, but Julie James took that crown. However, her chase scene leading to her tragic death may be one of my favorite scenes in any slasher movie. I was rooting for her the entire time and the film really shook things up by killing her off. I’m still mad about it…

2

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998)

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer 1

The sequel is really not that bad. Released in 1998, it stars Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze Jr., Brandy, and Mekhi Phifer. Julie James is back and wins a trip to the Bahamas with her roommate, Karla. Julie and Ray are on the rocks, but luckily our favorite fisherman shows up in a few clutch moments.

While some of this movie is slightly outrageous, we do get some fun characters, including one played by Jack Black. We witness a fun karaoke performance, a tanning bed nightmare, and a lot of rain to really add to the ambiance.

Plus, there is a pretty big twist at the end which did help things.

Standout Death:

Not a death scene, but the tanning bed scene does come to mind. Julie decides to try and relax, but the killer locks the tanning bed, which is beyond terrifying.

I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer (2006)

So, I had no idea for the longest time that this film even existed and after watching it, I know why. The film was released in 2006 and it stars Brooke Nevin, David Paetkau, and Torrey DeVito. None of the original cast appear in this film although we do get a brief mention about what happened to them when the new characters are researching our infamous fisherman killer, Ben Willis.

The beginning of this film is actually kind of interesting. The group of friends decide to play a prank on everyone that actually ends up deadly and they try to cover it up.

That’s pretty much the only interesting part of the movie. The acting is horrible, the kills are gory, but eh, and the twist at the end is so ridiculous that you may think you actually fell asleep during the movie. I won’t reveal the twist here, but wow…and not in a good way.

Standout Death:

The tractor scene comes to mind, but honestly nothing really sticks out on this one.

I almost wish this movie had come out with a different name. It really doesn’t do the franchise any favors.

While there have been talks about an IKWYDLS television series, I haven’t seen too much on this. I would honestly love to see IKWYDLS take a page out of Scream’s book and give us a film with the original characters while introducing us to a new set of potential victims. Maybe Ben’s son had a son…or daughter? Just a thought…

Which I Know What You Did Last Summer films did YOU enjoy most?

Ranking the top 5 moments from “The 100” season 7 episode 12: “The Stranger”

Happy Monday TV fans! After finally watching The CW’s The 100 season 7 episode 12, I learned that sometimes we need to ask ourselves: “Is the thing you believe in really that important?”

Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.

In episode 12, “The Stranger,” Sheidheda continues to force the people of Sanctum to kneel, but Memori takes matters into their own hands. Meanwhile, Bellamy tries to figure out a way to save his friends while still maintaining his new beliefs.

My top 5 moments from The 100 season 7 episode 12 are:

5

“Welcome to new Sanctum.”

Let’s be honest. I don’t think that Sanctum has had a drama-free moment since our favorite characters arrived here, but things are taking a turn for the worse under Sheidheda’s rule.

He wipes out the Children of Gabriel after they refuse to kneel to him, reminding everyone that he means business.

Luckily, Indra, Emori, and Murphy are working together to keep innocents safe and hidden, but it’s only a matter of time before their secret is unraveled…

4

“Who the hell are you?”

After getting over the initial shock of Bellamy being alive, Echo takes a moment to ask him what’s really going on. Bellamy wants to figure out a way to fix the flame because he knows it is the only way to save his friends, but sooner or later…he’s going to have to make a choice.

Let’s just hope it’s the right one.

3

“She did it to save your soul.”

We get several heart-to-heart talks during this episode, but Hope is really taking her mother’s death hard. Jordan sheds some light and proves to be a good listener. Diyoza’s sacrifice was to protect her daughter, but Hope needs to find the strength within her to help save her friends.

I have a feeling that she is going to be extremely important at the end of all of this. And let’s not forget about Octavia and Clarke’s talk about family. I keep getting the feeling that someone else is about to die…

2

“I’m proud of you Murphy.”

There is still a lot of setup around Murphy’s character development. We know that he has embraced his heroic side, but it’s making me wonder if he will be the main character to die. He has done so much and now he is revealing a truly selfless side.

Sheidheda finds the hiding spot and holds Murphy captive, as they continue their complicated game of chess, but is his life in real danger here?

I think it’s time for him to get some serious backup…

1

“What the hell happened here?”

A good question for sure. After Clarke is tortured to extract her memories, Bellamy realizes that he may be out of chances to save her and his friends. When Clarke’s friends are threatened, she agrees to bring the Disciples to the flame, but he first sends her friends through the anomaly to an unknown planet.

I have a feeling they will finally meet up with Gaia here, but we’ll have to wait and see.

Meanwhile, Clarke goes through the anomaly to Sanctum with Bill and the others and Murphy is beyond thrilled to see her. However, Clarke has certainly walked into quite the mess.

I think another war is about to begin…

May we meet again.

Stay tuned! New episodes return September 9th 2020!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “The 100” season 7 episode 11: “What happened to Bellamy?”

Happy Thursday TV fans! After finally watching The CW’s The 100 season 7 episode 11, we were left with an important dilemma: “all alive, but just out of reach…” Sometimes we need to channel a strength we never even knew existed to survive, but do we lose everyone we love in the process?

Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.

In episode 11, “Etherea,” we finally find out exactly what happened to Bellamy. Bellamy is back and it’s about time. Meanwhile, Clarke decides what to do next to help save her friends.

My top 5 moments from The 100 season 7 episode 11 are:

5

“No one is coming to save us…”

Even though Levitt has now discovered that Bellamy is in fact alive, he is a little bit out of reach. Good thing Bellamy Blake always has a plan. When Bellamy gets blasted by the anomaly, he winds up in Etherea with the Disciple control room conductor. Bellamy is forced to work with his enemy in order to find a way off this planet, but working together may not be so easy…

Either way…Bellamy Blake is alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4

“It doesn’t bring peace.”

Bellamy brushes up on his reading since there is a lot of time to pass and learns a lot about the Disciples and their beliefs. He thinks that the Cave of Ascent is far-fetched, but his enemy continues to enlighten him, explaining that they both have a purpose that is bigger than them.

Bellamy doesn’t think that one can achieve transcendence through war, but he certainly has a lot to think about.

3

“Love is not the problem. It’s how you love that is.”

Bellamy continues to hold on to his love for his family and friends, but he is warned that this is selfish love and that the Disciples love all mankind and do what is necessary for the good of the many.

We get several hints about a “leap of faith” along the way and after Bellamy is saved from the brutal storm by his enemy, they actually find the “Cave of Ascent.” Bellamy finally lets his guard down and prays with his enemy and ends up seeing his mother, who acts as a guide for him during this other state of mind or hallucination.

2

“This is our only chance…”

I almost felt like I was re-watching Game of Thrones with Jon Snow climbing the wall. This episode brought back all those feels, as Bellamy and the Disciple embark on a dangerous journey of their own up the wall.

I have to admit I was on the edge of my seat for this one as well. When Bellamy gets to the top, they are able to access the anomaly, but have to literally take a leap of faith to reach the bridge.

And of course, we have Bill waiting for him on the other side…

1

“Bellamy?”

So, we welcome back Bellamy and he immediately kneels to Bill. I was hoping that this would just be another long con (taking a play out of Echo’s book), but now I’m not so sure.

At the very end of the episode, Bellamy is reunited with his friends and we focus in on Octavia, Echo, and Clarke, who are beyond shocked to see him.

We get a small Bellarke moment, as Clarke rushes over to hug him, whispering that she no longer has the flame (the key) and that they’ll figure something out.

However, Bellamy turns around and betrays her, revealing exactly what she said to Bill.

So, has Bellamy truly become a believer or not? In the beginning of this post, I mentioned that Bellamy always has a plan so I’d like to believe that there is a way out of this, but he also went through some crazy near death trippy stuff during his journey.

Maybe, it’s going to take family to bring him back since the hallucination of his mother lured him into this mess.

Octavia, you’re up!

I thought this episode was so incredibly well done and we finally got to confirm that Bellamy is actually alive. Now, we need to do something about him being brainwashed…

Bellarke fans, let’s hope that we can get more than an embrace…soon! We’re running out of time!

May we meet again.

Stay tuned!

Ranking the top 5 moments from “The 100” season 7 episode 10: “A Little Sacrifice”

Happy Monday TV fans! After finally watching The CW’s The 100 season 7 episode 10, I learned that “every war seems like the last one…until the next.”

Please note spoilers are ahead if you have not gotten a chance to watch the latest episode yet.

In episode 10, “A Little Sacrifice,” we meet up with Clarke in present time, as answers are revealed about the end of the world. Meanwhile, Memori risks it all to help others in need and Indra faces off against Sheidheda.

My top 5 moments from The 100 season 7 episode 10 are:

5

“You want my help? Earn it.”

Clarke is the queen of bad-ass quotes on this show and I was happy to finally witness some well deserved screen time for her. We have been jumping all over the map and through time, so it was nice to finally allow our main character to step up to the plate…especially since she is the key to everything.

Clarke is concerned when Echo, Diyoza, and Octavia say that they are committed to the cause and demands to know what has been done to them. She wants to get everyone off the planet and back to Sanctum, but that’s easier said than done.

4

“I think you’re becoming someone worth believing in.”

I think it’s safe to say that John Murphy has been transforming into the hero we all knew he could be for quite some time, but it was definitely a sweet moment to hear Emori say this. Murphy realizes that they will be risking their lives to help the people of Sanctum, but the selfish cockroach has shed that former life and is now embracing his heroic side.

Gotta say that it’s great to see our hero shining!

3

“Single combat!”

The showdown we have been waiting for has finally arrived, as Sheidheda and Indra fight for leadership over their people. Sheidheda wants everyone to kneel to him, but Indra shows off some bad-ass fighting skills to protect her people.

Only it doesn’t go so well for Indra, but Madi steps in to save her. Indra wants to protect Madi and promises to kneel to Sheidheda if he spares her. There has to be a way to stop this guy…

2

“This is not what Bellamy would have wanted…”

Good news…Echo isn’t brainwashed after all! She has a plan and she helps Hope break out so that they can all get the hell off this planet. Echo is willing to sacrifice herself, but Raven is the one who ends up talking her out of it.

We get several discussions about Bellamy throughout the episode, which certainly hints at the idea of him still being alive…we’ll get to that later.

1

“Be better than me.”

Things then get a little bit crazy when Hope decides to kill Anders, ready to sacrifice herself instead, but Diyoza refuses to let that happen and catches the droplet in the nick of time.

The 100 7 10 5 The CW

Hope watches in horror as Diyoza dies in front of them. Diyoza reminds her to be better than her. This was heartbreaking to see, but I had already prepared myself for this possible outcome. I sort of already thought that Diyoza was gone in the prior season so when she came back now it made sense to use her as a plot device to allow Hope a second chance.

That being said, this moment was still incredibly heartbreaking to watch…

This was another great episode and it looks like the spoiler is out of the bag for next week’s episode, revealing that SPOILER ALERT…Bellamy is still alive. I thought so!

**Well, this could just be revealing what happened to Bellamy before he ended up in present time so he could still be dead, but I’m remaining optimistic and screen time for Bellamy is a very good thing!

The 100 7 10 4 the cw

So, where is Bellamy and when is he? Is Gaia in the same place? What’s going on with this code and the test for humanity?

Still so many questions, but I’m hooked for sure!

May we meet again.

Stay tuned!
