My Ship of the week ending 10/19/19 on TV goes to…

Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones on The CW’s Riverdale season 4. There’s just something about Bughead that makes your heart skip a beat.

While both Bughead and Varchie had some passionate and fiery moments in season 4 episode 2, Bughead takes the crown for me because they have a bond that transcends all of that, understanding what it truly means to give up everything to do what is best for your partner. Please note some spoilers are ahead if you are not up-to-date on the series.

In a lot of ways, Betty and Jughead are ahead of their time. There is a maturity and friendship to their relationship and they really make you think past the temporary moments of passion. Sure, we love seeing these swoon-worthy parts, but I really enjoy witnessing Betty and Jughead’s selfless moments together even more.

They won’t have an easy year ahead of them, but Betty understands Jughead’s talent and potential and she reminds him that they can get through anything together, which was really inspiring and heartwarming to hear.

Betty and Jughead aren’t perfect by any means. In fact, I think that both of them have kept their fair share of secrets, but season 4 is really allowing them to flourish. In a lot of ways, they have moved past their prior mistakes and now they are truly grateful for one another, understanding what really matters in the end…being together.

There doesn’t need to be some epic moment between them because of all of their small moments together make them stand out that much more. They resemble a real and stable relationship and while I am worried about their future fate now that they will be separated, I have faith in these two no matter what.

Betty and Jughead are both strong characters individually and when they are together, they compliment each other so well and I love seeing them team up for mysteries.

My favorite moment of the episode was during English class when Betty pulled Jughead out in the hallway to tell him to go to Stonewall, reminding him that they are always together. Betty wants what is best for Jughead and I know that he would do the same for her.

What’s next for Bughead? We’ll have to wait and see, but I am anxious to find out more about Jughead’s disappearance in the future. Betty is my go to girl to solve the case, so I know that she will not stop until she finds him, but I am starting to wonder more about what led them to this separate path.

Long distance relationships are never easy, but I know that Betty and Jughead will do everything in their power to stay together. The King and Queen of the Serpents deserve every bit of happiness, but I have a feeling that someone might try and get in their way. These two are stronger together, but I am not underestimating either of them and I can’t wait to see what happens next!

I’m always rooting for these two and I would love to see some more screen time for both of them, especially since we know that they will really need to work at putting in some quality time together.

My Ship of the week ending 8/17/19 on TV goes to…

Kelsey and Zane on Younger! There are some amazing ships on this show, but I am so in love with Kelsey and Zane and I have been rooting for them for quite a while now. Kelsey hasn’t had the best luck in her previous relationships, but I felt that instant spark and chemistry when she met Zane.

His charming confidence was the perfect match for Kelsey’s stubborn tenacity and these two really compliment each other, while entering into some friendly competition as well, but that’s what makes their relationship scream passion!

**Please note some spoilers are ahead if you have not watched season 6, episode 9 yet. Even though it seems like Kelsey and Zane are the perfect match, they haven’t really had their moment in the spotlight yet. Kelsey and Zane both care about their jobs a lot and it has often gotten in the way of their relationship, but it looks like that is finally about to change!

In season 6, episode 9, Zane is hurt when he finds out that Kelsey has been lying to him about Liza’s real age and she tries to work things out with him. This leads to a real and honest conversation between them, as Zane asks Kelsey what she really thought when he told her he loved her. The obstacles appear to be out of the way for now and Kelsey tells Zane that she loves him too, which had me jumping up and down for joy!

Kelsey is such a strong woman and her past relationships consisted of men who simply did not deserve her. Either they didn’t see how amazing she was or they were too busy being selfish, but she was so far out of their league. Even though Zane tries to pretend like he doesn’t care, he does, and he proves that he has a softer and romantic side when it comes to his feelings for Kelsey.

Kelsey and Zane deserve a real chance at happiness and I believe in their relationship. They are beyond adorable together and I love when they go out drinking, as the walls come down and they are finally just themselves with one another. Perhaps Kelsey should leave the cooking to Zane in the future though…

What’s next for Kelsey and Zane? Now that it looks like they are finally giving their relationship a chance, what does this mean for their working relationship? Zane is currently reporting to Kelsey, but this will most likely need to change if they want to avoid more scandal at Millennial, but I can’t wait to see some more swoon-worthy moments for these two and I hope nothing else stands in their way because they are end game for me!

My Ship of the week ending 8/3/19 on TV goes to…

Diana and Enzo on Younger! Even though Liza’s relationships get the most attention on the show, Diana and Enzo deserve some recognition for being one of the most adorable ships I have seen on television in a long time. From the first moment Enzo walked into Diana’s life as the plumber from Staten Island, I fell in love with these two and I will continue to ship them together.

**Please note some spoilers are ahead if you have not watched season 6 episode 7 yet. Even though Diana and Enzo come from different worlds, they are willing to meet each other halfway. Diana has actually grown so much as a character because of her relationship with Enzo, as she even finds herself boarding a ferry to Staten Island and putting up with Enzo’s judgmental mother, which is no easy task!

Diana has made some mistakes when it comes to Enzo, but she risks it all and throws appearances out the window when she finds out he is trapped in the sewer. Even though Enzo is covered in filth, Diana embraces him, refusing to let him go. We have witnessed so many passionate and swoon-worthy moments between these two and Diana even writes about her tale of love in the paper, revealing that she does have a softer, romantic side and reminding us that it’s never too late to find that kind of epic love that some only dream about.

I really enjoyed Diana’s article where she talked about truly appreciating and loving the person next to you because at the end of the day, that’s the person of your dreams. He or she may not be everything you thought you wanted, but perhaps they make you a better person and help you become a greater version of yourself.

In season 6 episode 7, Diana begins to panic when she finds out that Enzo has previously had a “one year expiration date” on all of his past relationships. Only our girl Diana has nothing to worry about because she truly is one of a kind, as Enzo decides to spontaneously propose to her! Diana initially comments on the lack of ring, but decides to just go with it and enthusiastically says yes, embracing the possibility of true love.

With all of the drama surrounding Charliza, Josh, and Kelsey and Zane, it was nice to just truly appreciate a couple that is head over heels in love and I can’t say enough good things about this ship. What’s next for Diana and Enzo? It will be interesting to see Enzo’s mother become Diana’s mother-in-law, but we know that she can hold her own! Either way, this ship is timeless, passionate, and inspiring and I will continue to root for Diana and Enzo against all odds!

My Ship of the week ending 7/13/19 on TV goes to…

Kane and Abby on The 100, better known as Kabby! Kabby is such an underrated ship on The 100 and it doesn’t get as much attention as Bellarke or Clexa, but there is something to be truly said about it. The love between Kabby is powerful and healing. Both Kane and Abby have lost their way so many times and yet they find something so special with one another.

**Please note MAJOR spoilers are ahead if you have not watched season 6 episode 9 yet. The journey for these two characters is truly remarkable, as they have both made so many mistakes, but yet they continue to fight to make things right. Even though Kane may have the most to make up for from his time on The Ark, he has now essentially become the moral compass of the show.

In seasons 5 and 6, Abby has been broken, but Kane has never given up on her, which explains why Abby refuses to let him go in season 6. However, I love that Kane doesn’t turn a blind eye either. He does intervene and he tries to get Abby to see reason during her addiction in season 5 because he truly cares and wants what is best for her. In season 6 episode 9, Kane wakes up in his new body and has trouble adjusting and accepting this. Abby begs him to make the most of it, recognizing the potential for a second chance here, but Kane knows this is not right and he decides to bring everything full circle.

In one of the most heartbreaking moments I have witnessed yet on the show, Kane (as Henry Ian Cusick) says goodbye to Abby through the glass and tells her that he has always loved her. He essentially floats himself, hoping his sacrifice will make a difference here and he brings everything full circle by doing this. Abby has turned to drugs in the past, but will Kane’s sacrifice finally get through to her? We have heard the phrase, “May We Meet Again,” so many times on the show, but it truly made an impact with me in this moment.

Henry Ian Cusick has confirmed that he is leaving the show, but I can’t really think of this as the end of Kabby. Their love is so inspiring and I’m hoping that Abby will carry her love for Kane with her always, which will keep his values alive. Kane has always wanted to make amends and do the right thing and he will never be forgotten.

Kabby’s love is transcendent of time and it’s difficult thinking about the show without it. I almost feel like I lost a part of myself along with Kane, but I have a feeling that a spark has just ignited in Abby and she’s about to make Kane proud. Thank you Henry Ian Cusick for so many amazing years on the show and thank you for bringing Kabby into our lives! May we meet again. Stay tuned!

My Ship of the week ending 6/29/19 on TV goes to…

John Murphy and Emori on The 100, better known as Memori! The two outsiders on the show who somehow found their way to one another fly under the radar sometimes, but their love is real and inspiring. Please note some spoilers are ahead. There is just something so incredibly sweet about these two together. I fell in love with this ship a long time ago on the show and it continues to make me melt. Murphy has always been the bad boy, but he has the potential to be redeemed by love when he meets Emori. Emori is not without her faults either, as she has trouble trusting others and both characters were used to putting their own survival ahead of helping others in the past. However, that starts to change when they meet each other.

It seems like Emori has made more progress with her moral compass, as our favorite bad boy cannot always be trusted, but there is something magical about these two together. Even though Murphy can be a bit harsh with others, he wears his heart on his sleeve when it comes to his feelings for Emori. We’ve been lacking some serious screen time for these two for a while, but I was happy to see some swoon-worthy moments between them in season 6 episode 8.

Murphy gets down on one knee and asks Emori if she can love him forever. Even though Murphy is talking about siding with Josephine here and accepting immortality, I can’t skip over the sweetness of this moment. Emori ultimately has to choose between staying loyal to Murphy and doing the right thing. Even though she ends up telling Bellamy about John’s plan to get rid of Clarke, she still cares for him so deeply.

Later on, when Josephine stabs Murphy, Emori rushes over to his side and tells him to stay with her. Through it all, Memori continues to touch my heart and soul. Even though I was getting some vibes between Murphy and Raven for a while, I think that Memori is end game. They accept each other for who they are, faults and all.

What’s next for Memori? We’ll have to stay tuned to find out, but it looks like they are in a lot of trouble. They are both taken prisoner by the Primes and Murphy’s injury looks pretty bad, so we will have to see if they can survive what happens next. I’m hoping so, but immortality may be out of reach for Murphy now, but perhaps he can realize that having the woman he loves with him is rewarding enough. I can’t wait to see what happens next for them!

My Ship of the week ending 6/22/19 on TV goes to…

John Dorie (like the fish) and June (June Bug) on Fear the Walking Dead! I really can’t say enough about these two, as their relationship gives me all the feels! In a zombie apocalypse, they are still able to give us swoon-worthy moments that just make you smile. Please note some spoilers are ahead. There is just something so incredibly sweet about these two together. I fell in love with their relationship back in season 4 and I was worried that they wouldn’t get that much screen time in season 5, but episode 3 didn’t disappoint, as these two headed off to the wild wild west together. I almost felt like they were on a real date, even though those pesky walkers decided to break up the party.

The reason why I love these two together so much is that their love inspires those around them as well. In season 5 episode 3, they cross paths with Dwight, who is searching for his own lost love, but John and June refuse to let him give up hope, recognizing what it feels like to keep searching for that special someone, even though it seems like it may be impossible. However, anything is possible with these two…even the impossible and that’s why I adore them so much.

You know how some movies just make you cry uncontrollably when you think about how incredibly romantic they are? The Notebook comes to mind for me, which I can’t watch without sobbing, but I almost feel like John Dorie and June could star in their own version of an epic love story because their love is that powerful. There is just something so enchanting and beautiful about it and I just hope that the writers on the show don’t tear them apart. I honestly couldn’t take it at this point because I have fallen in love with both of them and I will continue to root for them against all odds.

What’s next for John Dorie and June? We’ll have to stay tuned to find out, but it looks like a lot of new threats are headed their way. John Dorie is the fastest gun in the west and June can keep up as well, creating a great tag team, but Fear TWD does have a habit of splitting characters up, so I’m just really hoping that doesn’t happen here. These two are already amazing characters on their own, but together they are something truly remarkable. I can’t wait to see what happens next for them!

My Ship of the week ending 6/15/19 on TV goes to…

Liza and Charles on Younger, better known as Charliza or Team Charles! The chemistry between these two has been building and building for the entire series and last season, Team Charles fans everywhere got to rejoice, witnessing some sweet and steamy moments between these two. However, it looks like their relationship can finally begin to define itself now in season 6. Please note some spoilers are ahead. Charles has given up so much for Liza, but clearly she is worth it. Even though Charles has essentially sacrificed his career to choose Liza, he is finding his true identity with her, finally feeling free.

Charliza is now also out in the open, but there is still a lot of drama surrounding them. Scandal is following Charles’s departure, as news of his affair is leaked and Kelsey is initially blamed and there’s also the fact that Charles is still legally married. Even though things are still beyond complicated, Charles and Liza are trying to make it work and I think that goes to show that “nothing worth having comes easy.” Against all odds, I root for these two, even though Liza did have a fair amount of sparks with Josh. However, with Charles, it just seems like these two connect on another level. They understand each other and their friendship is adorable.

What’s next for Charliza? We’ll have to stay tuned to find out, but it looks like Liza may be put in an awkward position in terms of her career when she has to choose loyalty to either Charles or Kelsey. Even though Charles has given up so much for her, is Liza ready to do the same? I’m hoping so, but I know that the road will continue to twist off unexpectedly for Charliza, but I expect them to come out even stronger than before. These two are meant to be and they deserve a real chance at happiness. I can’t wait to see what happens next for these two!

My Ship of the week ending 6/1/19 on TV goes to…

Villanelle and Eve on Killing Eve, better known as Villaneve! The tension between these two has been building for two seasons now and there is so much untapped desire swirling around, begging to come out, but will Villaneve fans ever get the moment they have been waiting for? Please note some spoilers are ahead. Eve’s interest in tracking down Villanelle turned into an obsession in season one, but in season two, she has been discovering her darker side. The dynamic between these two amazing characters shifted and it was interesting to see Villanelle searching for a true connection and something human, while Eve has been dancing with the devil, wondering if she has that killer instinct that comes so naturally to Villanelle.

One of my favorite moments for Villaneve in season one is when Villanelle invites herself over for dinner and Eve fears that she is initially there to kill her. Villanelle slams her against the refrigerator and asks her if she is wearing her perfume, which escalated this game of cat and mouse into something more seductive, surprising Eve. These two continued to share an infatuation, but Eve sparked something even greater by stabbing Villanelle in the season one finale. You would think Villanelle would want to kill her, but she is excited by this action, recognizing that perhaps her and Eve are actually very much alike and that this proves that she really cares for her. I mean, I guess flowers and chocolates are no longer necessary here.

During season two, the relationship between Villaneve heats up even more, as these two work together and end up becoming closer because of it. In the episode prior to the season finale, Villanelle continues to talk to Eve over her earpiece, which prompts Eve to have sex with Hugo, while Villanelle listens in, providing these two with a beyond intimate moment. In the season finale, Eve kills Raymond to save Villanelle, while Villanelle watches her with pleasure. Eve has finally reached that dark side she has been exploring and Villanelle thinks that they now have a chance to be together.

Only, nothing is simple for Villaneve, as Eve begins to panic and have second thoughts, realizing that Villanelle essentially manipulated her into killing in front of her, since Villanelle had a gun with her the entire time. In a heated moment, Villanelle slaps Eve across the face, which was probably one of the steamiest moments I have witnessed on the show. Shout out goes to @greyhound001 on Twitter, who was amazing enough to remind me of this and I have to say that I agree 100 percent. There is something so twisted and wrong with Villaneve and yet it works and draws the audience in even more.

What’s next for Villaneve? We’ll have to stay tuned to find out, but we are left with a major cliffhanger in the season two finale and we know that Villanelle always gets what she wants. Has she gone too far though? Is there any hope for Villaneve to FINALLY share a kiss? The suspense is killing me! I can’t wait to see what happens next for these two!

My Ship of the week ending 5/4/19 on TV goes to…

Veronica Lodge and Archie Andrews on Riverdale, better known as Varchie! I was beyond heartbroken when these two split up, as it seemed like fate continued to defy them. Veronica and Archie sort of remind me of Romeo and Juliet. They have a beautiful and passionate love, but some things are way beyond their control. But can they learn from their past mistakes? Varchie’s biggest problem was Veronica’s father, Hiram Lodge, and it looks like the feud between Archie and Hiram is not even close to being over. I’m not sure that challenging him to a boxing match will solve all their problems, but it will be interesting to see if Varchie can survive this.

I have been seeing some sparks flying between Veronica and Archie for quite some time now and Josie’s departure has only brought them even closer together. Josie recognized that her and Archie were not end game, but there is something really epic about Varchie. Archie asks Veronica to the prom as friends, but their slow dance suggested that their love is not over just yet. I’ve been rooting for these two to get back together for quite some time, but let’s hope that they are able to recognize what is truly important.

What’s next for Varchie? We’ll have to stay tuned to find out, but we will have to see if they are able to overcome the family drama and prioritize their relationship. Veronica has been there for Archie every step of the way, but he also broke her heart and she may need some time to heal. As long as Archie stops blaming himself for literally everything, perhaps he can see that he does deserve happiness with Veronica. I can’t wait to see what happens next for these two!

My Ship of the week ending 4/20/19 on TV goes to…

Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones, better known as Jonerys! I think these two are absolutely adorable together and they somehow became even sweeter in the season 8 premiere. Jon is willing to bend the knee to Daenerys, but there is an undeniable connection here that cannot be ignored. Sure, there may be some family drama headed their way, which will most likely make things more than complicated, but I really enjoy seeing these two together and I’m willing to put their family tree aside. The dragon flying date will make going to dinner and a movie seem a little dull, but I’m not sure that I want two dragons staring me down right before a swoon-worthy kiss, so I guess there’s some pros and cons.

I constantly root for these two and hope that they can somehow make it, but I’m not certain of their future just yet. However, I am going to continue swooning over the moments that I do get because I think these two truly compliment one another. They are both strong leaders, but it will be interesting to see if Daenerys can do what is right in the same way that Jon has. Leadership is difficult to maintain, but when truths are revealed, these two will need to stay strong and support one another if they want to keep their people together.

What’s next for Jonerys? We’ll have to stay tuned to find out, but it looks like they are in for a bumpy ride now that they have arrived in Winterfell. Sure, they have to worry about the army of the dead, as the White Walkers head their way, but Daenerys better watch out for Sansa Stark’s icy stares as well. Seriously, when did she get so intimidating? Either way, I’m along for the ride and I can’t wait to see what happens next for these two!
